The Prince's Return

Josh is back but this time he is taking his Mark of Mastery. During his Mark of Mastery Josh recovers his childhood memories of Aqua and Terra, but there is an evil force that has a connect to the Prince of Hearts. Can Josh prove that he is a Keyblad Master and defeat this evil force? Also can Josh be reunited with his childhood friends? Find out on Josh's next adventure

Chapter 1: Mark of Mastery

Josh and Mickey arrived at the Mysterious Tower home to Master Yen Sid. They walked up to Yen Sid's room, and Mickey knocked on the door. Yen Sid said "Come in."

Josh and Mickey entered the room. Josh walked toward the desk standing still and looking at Yen Sid. Then Josh said, "Master Yen Sid it is an honor to meet you."

"Thanks, it is also my honor to see and meet the Prince of Hearts." Yen Sid said.

"I'm not the Prince of Hearts right now. I'm just the Keyblader of the Dragon Keyblade of Hearts." Josh said as he laid the X-Blade on the desk. Yen Sid looked puzzled of what Josh just said that he wasn't the Prince of Hearts, and replied, "Why did you say that you not the Prince of Hearts?"

"The main reason is that I am missing a part of my heart, which is the darkness piece. The Prince must have a balance heart in order to wield the X-Blade." Josh said.

"How did the darkness left your heart?" Yen Sid said.

"When I was fighting the anybody Master Xehnort. He stabbed me in the heart with a keyblade hoping to destroy me. He tried to pull out my heart which is probably when the darkness leaked out of my heart." Josh said.

"Who stop the anybody from pulling your heart out completely?" Yen Sid said.

"Master Aqua stopped the anybody." Josh said.

"How?" Yen Sid said. Josh went into details on how he created a portal to the realm in between the realms, and how another portal was created for Aqua. After finish the details, Yen Sid took some time to think of what Josh said, and understood it. Yen Sid then looked over at Josh's left hand and saw something in it. Yen Sid said, "Josh what is that in your hand?"

"I guess it is a wayfinder." Josh said.

"A wayfinder?" Yen Sid asked.

"It is something for me to find Aqua." Josh said, "So can you help me find her by pointing me in the right direction?"

Yen Sid turn away from Josh and looked out into the stars to find any answers for Josh in his quest to find Aqua. Then Yen Sid discovered that something is not right and that the thing deals with the Prince of Hearts. Finally Yen Sid turned back to Josh with a stern look on his face. Josh figured that he will have a different quest that takes priority over his personal quest.

"Josh, a new enemy has surfaced out there. I fear that this enemy has a connection to the anybodies. Please tell me anything that you know about the Prince of Hearts and the X-Blade." Yen Sid said.

"All I know about the Prince and the X-Blade is from the legends that I heard when I was a child. One legend talk about how the Prince created a temporary peace before vanishing which lead to the Keyblade War. Another legend talks how to forge an X-Blade. That is all I know." Josh said.

"King Mickey brought me a scroll that he found in his home world that revealed the identity of the Prince of Hearts, but nothing talked about where to find the Prince, when will the Prince so himself, or the trails that the Prince must face to prove himself." Yen Sid said, "I fell it would be better that you get some new clothes because the ones you are wearing looks like they have seen worse."

Josh looked at his clothes and they were torn, ripped, had holes in them, and looked old. Yen Sid pointed to the other door in the room besides the one Josh and Mickey came through. Josh walked to the door, opened it, and went inside the room. Then Josh saw three lights one of red, one of blue, and one of green. The lights grew bigger until they became three fairies. Josh walked up to them and said, "Are you going to make some new clothes for me?

"Sure we can make you some new clothes," Flora said, "ready, one, two, three."

Three different color balls of light came to Josh changing his clothes and shoes. When the light disappeared Josh's clothes looked like Sora's final form clothes from Kingdom Hearts II with something on Josh's left shoulder, and his shoes were repair and had matching colors to his clothes. Josh left the room and went to Yen Sid.

Yen Sid noticed that there the thing on Josh's left shoulder. Yen Sid knew that the thing on Josh's left shoulder was an armor summoner cause he seen two other Keybladers had them a long time ago. Josh walked to Yen Sid's desk waiting for Yen Sid to speak. Yen Sid looked at Josh stroking his beard and said, "Would you mind show me your other Keyblade."

"Sure." Josh said, as he raised his right arm and summoned the Dragon Keyblade. It appeared, but it was different from before Josh arrived at Yen Sid's place. The new Dragon keyblade looked like that two of the old dragon keyblade were merged as one and a sword was coming in the middle of the two wings plus there was no keychain attach to it. Josh said, "This is the Dragon Keyblade of World's Hearts, so this is the Dragon Keyblades true form. I can feel that this keyblade can respond to my ability to wield two keyblades."

"Josh with your Keyblade skills at their peak and I feel it is time for you to prove that you have the Mark of Mastery," Yen Sid said, "but your test is to go to other worlds and find out anything about Master Aqua or the new enemy. When you found enough information come back and report. If you succeed with this task, I'll make you a Keyblade Master."

Josh left the tower, pushed the circle on his left shoulder, and a dragon like armor appeared on Josh. Then Josh threw his keyblade up and it transformed into wings. It attached to the back of Josh's armor allowing Josh to fly. Josh jumped hard and left heading on his adventure.

Chapter 2: The Grid

Josh was flying in the lanes in between trying to figure out where to start. Other thoughts were flying through his head as well as what world did Aqua went, what is this new enemy, and where did his darkness go? Josh saw the worlds of the Princesses of Hearts except for Destiny Island. Then Josh saw a beam of light coming for him. Josh tried to dodge it, but the beam hit him. The armor vanished, the wings turned back into the Dragon Keyblade of Worlds' Hearts, and his clothes changed to a computerized version form of it. Josh blacked out, and the Dragon Keyblade of Worlds' Hearts transformed into a disk.

Josh was lying in the street of a city motionless when two men in black with orange line going up and down, holding orange staffs, and wearing a black helmet with orange lines. One of them looked down at Josh and said, "Take him to the games, but first revive him and prep him for the games."

Each of them grab Josh by the shoulder taking him to a ship that had other people in there. Somewhere like the two that picked up Josh and others that had blue lines instead of orange and didn't wear a helmet either. One of the men placed Josh's disk on his lap. The ship took off heading to an arena, and along the way Josh regained his consciousness. Josh as trying to move but the only thing he could move is his head. Josh looked over at one of the other captives and asked, "Where are we going?"

"The Games," the captive said. The ship landed and the two guards removed Josh from his bindings. They took him to a platform which Josh went down on. Josh looked around and everything was black. Then the lights came on and Josh saw four women in white skin tight clothes coming from the corners of the room. They came walking toward Josh, and one of them took the disk that Josh was holding. The rest of them changed Josh's clothes to look like the way the male competitors looked like. Then they added something to Josh's back and attached the disk to the thing on Josh's back. Josh felt something weird, and saw that he had white lights going up and down his body. All the ladies went back to each of their corners, and Josh asked, "What do I do?"

"Survive," One of them spoke. The room went dark again and Josh saw a light coming from somewhere. Josh walked toward the light and found himself in a glass container. Josh saw seven other people in the same thing he was in. The next thing was that the containers moved and Josh saw that they were in an arena. People in the stands cheered, and another person said, "Welcome Programs to the Games. Please stand up for our Supreme Leader CLU."

A big ship came to the arena and went to its spot overlooking the battle. Josh felt his container move and he was facing another person. Josh saw the person reach behind his back and pulled out his disk. Josh grabbed his disk and a helmet with a visor appeared on Josh's head. The person threw his disk at Josh, but Josh dodge the disk which return back to the person. Josh concentrated hard on summoning his keyblade, and the disk transformed into the Dragon Keyblade of Worlds' Hearts. Josh put both of his hands on the Keyblade and split it in two. The opponent threw the disk at Josh again, but Josh destroyed it with the one of the two Keyblades. Then Josh threw the other at the person, and the person became little blocks which disappeared.

Josh fought two more matches and won them all using the same strategy that he used in the first match. Josh combined his two keyblades into one and it transformed into his disk. Everyone in the stands was cheering for Josh, and then the announcer said, "Congratulation Combatant. Now you have the privilege to meet our leader CLU."

Josh was escorted to the ship, then to the chamber where CLU was in. CLU had black clothes with a yellow light lines going up and down, wearing a black cloak over it, and a black helmet. Josh walked up to CLU and everyone else in the room left. CLU turned around and said, "Well done, well done user. That is what we call a human that enters the Grid. I know that you are not an ordinary user; you are a Keyblader."

"How do you know about the keyblade?" Josh asked.

"I have seen two other Keybladers before meeting you. One of them I have seen twice, but on two different Grids." CLU said.

"So why do you want to meet me?" Josh said.

"To present our champion a better challenge a light cycle battle." CLU said. Then Josh and CLU heard some sounds coming from behind the doors. Next the door busted open and two people came running in the room. Josh saw CLU's reaction to the people that came in the room which Josh interrupt that CLU knew these people. Josh grab his disk to defend himself. One of the people that came in charged at CLU, and said, "The game has changed, now."

The other person went to Josh and said, "Come with us, this is a trap!"

Josh followed the person who spoke to him and the other person came as well. They escaped from the ship, and made it out. They worked their way out of the arena and Josh saw a vehicle that the other people were going in. Josh decided to go with them and got in the vehicle which took off. Josh asked, "I know that we are in a rush, my name is Josh. What are your names?"

"I'm Sam Flynn." Sam said which Josh recognized as the person that attacked CLU.

"I'm Quorra." Quorra said which Josh recognized as the person that protected him. The vehicle left the city, and head toward the mountains. The vehicle entered a cave, and everyone hoped out of the vehicle. Josh followed Sam and Quorra up a passageway to a room. Josh began to wonder what was going on, so he asked, "Can any of you tell me what is going on?"

"Well, first to start is that Quorra and I were beamed into this world same as you. We fought in the games and won all the matches except when we fought each other. CLU invited us to see him, and challenged us to a light cycle battle. Then Tron who fights for the user saved us by sacrificing himself. We escaped the city and found this cave." Sam said, "This grid is different from the grid I was on when I meet Quorra. It seems that this grid is a combination of the grid that Quorra and was in, and another grid. That seems to go with everyone in the grid. Now we are trying to save any user from CLU and finding out what happen to Tron as well."

"Could CLU turn Tron evil and use the light cycle to battle as a way for Tron kill any users that fall into the trap," Josh said.

"That is a possibility. I have heard that to face the champ, you must first win the games and survive a light cycle battle." Quorra Said.

"I've won the recent games, but I don't know how to use a light cycle." Josh said.

"That is one problem, and the other is that the next light cycle game is in four hours." Sam said.

"Well just teach me the basics," Josh said.

Chapter 3: Tron

Sam told Josh the basic controls of controlling a light cycle while Quorra was getting things prep for the mission by adding a fourth seat to the vehicle. Josh understood what Sam told him by repeating everything he heard. Then Sam handed Josh a small black stick and Josh grabbed it. Next Josh received a black cloak to wear. They went over the plan a couple times so that everyone knew it by heart. Quorra was to take Josh to the light cycle battle arena. Josh was to enter and win the light cycle battle. Then battle against Tron, and purify him with the Dragon Keyblade of Worlds' Hearts. Lastly escape the arena with Tron and meet up with Sam and Quorra.

Josh and Quorra left the cave and made their way into the city, but Josh asked Quorra to drop him off in the city instead of the arena. Josh walked around a bit, and asked someone where the light cycle sign-ups are located. The person that Josh asked calls over two people that were part of the same group that took Josh to the games. One of them said, "User Josh, we are ordered to escort you to the light cycle arena."

Josh didn't struggle he just followed them to the arena. One of them removed Josh's cloak as Josh entered the arena. Josh saw two other people standing their waiting for Josh which Josh recognized as Sam and Quorra. Sam told Josh that after Quorra drop him off; a mysterious person came with a ship and captured them. Josh asked, "What did this person look like?"

"The person look liked you but he wield a different keyblade," Quorra said. Josh was wondering does this person that Quorra describe have to do with the new threat that Yen Sid spoke of or does this person have to do with something with the missing darkness of his heart. Josh grabbed the stick that Sam gave him, also Sam and Quorra had a stick like Josh as well. They walked forward and the announcer said, "Welcome programs to the light cycle team battle. We have Team User: Sam, Quorra, and Josh versus the undefeated team lead by Tron. The rules are simple defeat the leader of the team."

Josh saw the leader of the other team Tron. Tron had a helmet over his head which had a red color lines instead of orange. Josh felt nervous because he has to get Tron off his light cycle and call upon his keyblade at the same time. A horn went off and everyone activated his or her light cycle by running a few steps, jump, and pulls the stick apart. Josh followed Sam and Quorra to figure out a strategy. Josh pulled up between them and asked, "How are we going to win?"

"Quorra and I are going to take out the other two cyclist leaving you the chance to take on Tron." Sam said.

"Okay just don't let anything happen to you," Josh said as they split up. Sam went to the right, Quorra went to the left and Josh continue straight until an enemy light cycle went across the path leaving and orange trail behind it. It was too late for Josh to turn, but the disk on his back transformed into a glider attached to Josh's back. Josh made his cycle jump, which he glided for a few seconds allowing Josh to see how everyone was doing. Josh saw that Sam was in trouble so he landed on the other side of the trail.

Josh headed to Sam to aid him because Sam had Tron and another light cyclist. Tron was on Sam's right and the other was on the left. The glider transformed back into the disk, which Josh grabbed with his right hand. The disk transformed into the keyblade which Josh rode up to the guy and Josh swung his keyblade. The keyblade hit the disk of the person, and the person along with the cycle vanished. Josh moved up to Sam, and the keyblade turn back into a disk which Josh put it on his back. Sam looked at Josh wondering what is the plan, but Josh saw a hole that lead to a tack below. Josh went down that hole and Sam lead Tron to a hole where Josh came out holding a keyblade in his right hand.

Josh fired a beam from the keyblade at the disk on Tron's back. The beam hit causing the color on Tron to change from red to white. Josh landed safely on the ground, and stopped his light cycle. Sam did the same and Quorra came over to where Sam and Josh where.

"By order of CLU, Josh and his gang are under arrest." The announcer said. Sam and Quorra took off for the exit. Tron had fallen down and his cycle reformed back into a stick. Josh grabbed Tron, flung him on his back, grabbed the stick, and took off to the exit. Sam, Quorra, Josh, and Tron made it out of the arena, but they were stopped by CLU and his men. Everyone got off their light cycles, CLU's men lead them to CLU's ship, and one of them remove Josh's disk. Some of CLU's men took Sam and Quorra one way, and the others took Josh and Tron to CLU along with Josh's disk.

When they got to CLU, Josh felt the ship moving. CLU was already holding Josh's disk trying to figure out how it transforms. CLU turned his head to Josh and Tron and said, "Josh, you are no ordinary user; I've been informed by someone that you are trying to escape. I'm also wanting to leave as well, so here how things go. You use your keyblade to allow me to leave, then I'll let your friends and you go."

"Did this person also give you the location of where Sam and Quorra were?" Josh said.

"He gave me a hint, but I had a feeling due to some old data that is in my memory," CLU said, "Take these two to the cell."

The guards escorted Josh and Tron to the cell where Sam and Quorra were. Once there the guards open the door and pushed Josh and Tron in the cell. Josh felt like he lost another part of himself. Sam came over to Josh and Tron and said, "What did CLU want?"

"He wants Josh to use his keyblade to allow himself to leave the grid," Tron said.

"If that happens, then we are doomed because the grid and CLU are linked together. If CLU leaves then the grid and everyone on it will vanish," Sam said.

"We must get Josh's disk back," Tron said, "but I have a theory. I think Josh can call upon his keyblade without the disk because I have seen another Keyblader called Sora who called upon his keyblade without using any disk. Josh I want you to try it as well."

"Are you saying that my keyblade is not a my disk, it is separate from my disk. I'll try to call upon my keyblade," Josh said as he closed his eyes. He concentrated hard, and he felt his keyblade in his right hand. Josh opened his eyes and saw his keyblade. Josh felt that he regain the lost piece of summoning his keyblade. Then Josh said, "It is time to take down CLU."

Chapter 4: The Escape

Josh, Tron, Sam, and Quorra discussed on how to escape the cell, defeat CLU, and leave this world. Josh and Tron were the focus point of the plan. Josh was wondering if the person that CLU, Sam, and Quorra mentioned was his dark half. Tron gave the cue for Josh to break down the door. Josh lifted his keyblade pointing it at the door a big fire ball emitted from the keyblade and destroyed the door. The guards came in the room wondering who destroyed the door which Sam and Quorra took out the guards.

Josh, Tron, Sam, and Quorra left the room and made their way to the room where Josh's disk was. Josh walked slowly to his disk. Once he got there, Josh grabbed it with his left hand, and put it on his back. Then Josh walked backed to Tron, Sam, and Quorra. CLU walked in the room and saw that Josh got his disk back. Josh held tight to his keyblade, and raised it to CLU. CLU was confused how Josh was able to have his keyblade and disk at the same time. The CLU asked, "Josh, how are you able to have your keyblade without using your disk, where in this world the disk is your keyblade?"

"You made a mistake in underestimating Keybladers. There have been other Keybladers that visited different forms of this world who didn't use disks to summon their keyblades. I was reminded that I can summon my keyblade without using a disk," Josh said, "My dream is to become a Keyblade Master and no one is going to stop me from achieving my dream."

"Show me your power Keyblader," CLU said. CLU grabbed his disk, and was ready for battle. Josh looked over at his left shoulder and saw that his armor summoner has returned. Josh punched the circle with his right hand. His body was covered with his armor, but it was adjusted to the world. Josh and CLU charged at each other. CLU's disk and Josh's keyblade meet causing the ship to shake. Josh split his keyblade into two. The right was still in contact with CLU's disk, but the left was free. Josh swung his left, and hit CLU's right shoulder.

CLU backed away from Josh grasping his right shoulder with his left hand. Josh could tell that CLU was afraid of Josh and Josh walked away. Josh joined up with Sam, Quorra, and Tron. They left the room heading for a hanger, and CLU pursued them. They found a ship big enough for three; Tron, Sam, and Quorra board the ship, and Josh used his keyblade to become his glider. When CLU came into the hanger, he saw Josh, Tron, Sam, and Quorra leaving the hanger. CLU grabbed a stick, jumped out, and pulled it apart. A small ship appeared around CLU which he used to follow Josh, Tron, Sam, and Quorra. Josh followed close to ship that Sam, Tron, and Quorra were in which they were heading to the light. The light represents the way out of the Grid.

They made their way to the light which had a platform near it. Josh and the ship that Tron, Sam, and Quorra are in landed on the platform, and the armor disappeared from Josh. Josh was holding his keyblade in his right hands. Josh, Tron, Sam, and Quorra ran toward the portal. Josh pointed his keyblade at the portal and said, "Sam, Quorra, this portal will take you back to your home world. Sam put your disk above your head and the portal will take you both home."

Sam and Quorra walked into the portal, Sam grabbed his disk, and put it above his head. The disk left his hands, and both Sam and Quorra disappeared. Josh walked to the portal, but CLU yelled, "Josh! Come and fight me you coward. You don't have the power to defeat me. I'm a fusion of the CLU from the Grid that Riku and Sora visited, and the Master Program from the portal that Sora visited."

"Josh go! I'll take care of CLU," Tron said, "Josh, when you see Sora tell him Thank you."

Tron fought hard against CLU and both of them were equally matched. Then CLU grabbed Tron and they went off the platform which both of them vanished. Josh grabbed his disk and held it above him. A beam of light surrounded him and he vanished. Josh awoke in a computer room. He walked out and realized that he was in the castle at Radiant Garden. Josh walked out of the castle, and saw someone in a black cloak. The person turned his head, but Josh couldn't see his face. Then the person took off running which Josh chased after him. The person opened a portal and went in the portal. Josh activated his armor and went in the portal. Josh continued to run until he came out and fell in the sand.

Chapter 5: Josh's Nobody

Josh got up and saw that his armor had disappeared. Next Josh looked around the area and realized that he is at Destiny Island. Josh noticed that two people were running to him whom Josh recognized as Sora and Riku, and he said, "Sora! Riku! How are you guys doing?" Josh asked.

"I'm doing well," Riku said.

"Same here, but I'm worried about Kari," Sora said.

"How come," Josh asked.

"Well there this thing that follows her when she is on this island," Sora said, "It acts like her shadow."

"I'm guessing it could be a heartless, but I want to tell you what happen to me after the battle," Josh said.

"We already know what happen to you. King Mickey came by here after you left Yen Sid's place. That you return to the place where we meet you, and that you are now taking your Mark of Mastery. So any luck," Sora said.

"The only thing I know is that there is someone out there that looks like me," Josh said.

"From what Mickey told us and what you said just now. It seems that you have a nobody, and if you have a nobody then that means you also have a heartless," Riku said.

"Aaaawwwaaahhh! Josh look behind you!" Sora yelled. Josh turned around and saw a black dragon with a heartless symbol on its chest. Josh took a few steps backwards with a shocked look on his face. Josh looked at the eyes of the heartless, and felt something coming from his heart like the heartless has some part if not all of the darkness that is missing from his heart. Sora and Riku jumped behind Josh with keyblades in hand trying to attack, but the heartless swung one of its claws knocking Sora and Riku back. Sora yelled, "Josh help us defeat this heartless."

"I can't let you defeat this heartless, because it has something that is missing from my heart," Josh said.

"Do you know how to retrieve it?" Riku asked.

"If I had the Keyblade of Peoples' Hearts I could have a chance," Josh said, "but I'll try my best."

Josh summoned his keyblade, and charged at his heartless. Josh barely made any damage to the Heartless. The Josh switched to the two blade form of his keyblade. Josh made better progress than before, but still couldn't bring the heartless down. Josh felt like he was trying to destroy a part of himself that he needed.

Josh stopped attacking and withdrawal from the fight. Josh fell to his knees and was crying. "There is no way to defeat it," Josh said. Then someone steeped in front of Josh wearing a black cloak. The person stretched out his right hand and the Keyblade of Peoples' Hearts appeared. Josh realized that this person was his nobody.

Josh's nobody engaged the heartless in battle. The nobody didn't swing his keyblade, but just dodge attacks. The nobody saw an opening, and threw his the keyblade at the heartless' heart. Then nobody jumped and his heart made contact with the handle of the keyblade. The heartless was sucked into the keyblade, and the nobody absorbed the heartless.

The heartless' darkness merged with Josh's nobody. When nobody landed on the ground, he turned around and looked directly to Josh. Their eyes meet gazing deep into each other to see what other's next move will be. Josh thought about making a move, but he just asked, "Do you know what happen to Aqua?"

"I don't know where Aqua is," Josh's nobody said.

"Then what do you know?" Josh asked.

"I know how to unlock the sealed memories that were sealed from the incident. I'll unlock the seal but the memories themselves will come back in time. The first memory that you will remember is when you met Terra. Plus my name is Nobody," Nobody said as he walked up to Josh and placed his right hand on Josh's head. Josh felt weird and passed out. Sora and Riku went to defend Josh, but Nobody let go of Josh. Then Nobody walked away and opened a portal which he went in it.

Nobody appeared on a different world. He walked up to a person and said, "I've completed my mission. What is the next mission?"

"Your next mission is to lead Josh into another word. Did Josh ask you anything?" the person asked.

"He just was wondering if I knew where Aqua was. I guess Josh must have some strong feelings for this person." Nobody said.

"Interesting, when you see Josh lead him to the Keyblade Graveyard, turn to him and raise your right to his head. After that return here and wait your future orders." The person said.

"I have undid the seal, but it caused me to remember as well. What I say was with him and Aqua." Nobody said.

"Don't worry about it. The memories will awaken Josh's hidden power and so will you. By the way call me Quxaa," Quxaa said.

Chapter 6: Terra

"Class I would like to introduce you to our newest student, Josh. Everyone please welcome Josh into our class," the teacher said.

"Hi Josh," the class said.

"Josh you will seat by Terra. Terra would you please raise your hand," the teacher said.

A boy with spiky brown hair and blues eyes raised his hand. Josh walked over to where Terra was sitting. Everyone in the classroom was sitting in groups of three with at least one girl per group except for Josh and Terra group. The teacher said, "Class would anyone like to tell what s/he wants to be when s/he grows up?"

Josh was one of the first students to raise their hands. The teacher pointed at Josh, and Josh stood up. Then Josh said, "I want to be the greatest Keyblade Master of all times."

Many of the students didn't say anything. The teacher was lost in words, and the only person who spoke was Terra. Terra said, "If you want to be the greatest Keyblade master, then you must be the direct decedent of the Prince of Hearts himself. If you did become a keyblade master, then I'll be lost to the darkness which someone will rescue me."

"Terra, that wasn't a nice thing you said. I feel confident that Josh will accomplish his goal of becoming a keyblade master." The teacher said.

The memory faded away for a while then it reappeared with Josh on a hill overlooking an ancient castle. Josh was holding a wooden sword in each of his hands. Josh was training himself very hard, making sure that his moves were prefect. Also Josh was getting all of his frustration out from today. Josh took a break from training and rested by the tree that was on the hill. Josh turned his head to the right and saw Terra coming up the hill carrying a wooden sword. Josh stood up wondering why Terra coming up here, but something inside Josh is wanted to have a battle with Terra. Terra came up to Josh and said, "Hey I saw you up here training alone, so I thought maybe you would like to have someone to train with."

"Okay, but first you must prove yourself to be my training partner by battling against me," Josh said.

"Bring it on Josh. There is no way you can beat me," Terra said. Josh charged at Terra, and swung with his left. Terra blocked the attack, but Josh swung with his right. Terra dodge out of it, and went on the offensive. Josh and Terra exchanged attacks until both of them were too tired to fight. They seat down benath the tree and were laughing. Neither Terra nor Josh had fought this hard before. Josh felt a connection with Terra in the form of friendship. Josh said, "Hey Terra."

"Yes Josh," Terra said.

"What is your dream?" Josh asked.

"Well I haven't thought about it," Terra said.

"Do you want to be a Keyblader?" Josh asked.

"As a matter of fact, I would like to be a Keyblader." Terra said.

"Then let's train together with wooden swords until we get our keyblades and train even harder until we become Keyblade Masters, my friend." Josh said

"Yeah we are friends now. I think it's time we head back home," Terra said. The scene dissolved and everything went black. Josh woke up, and saw Sora and Riku sitting beside him. Josh got up to a sitting positioning, and had a shocked look on his face.

"What happened to you?" Sora asked

"My nobody removed the seal which I regained the memories of meeting my childhood friend Terra plus all the memories until she came. I considered Terra as my rival and friend. That is all I remember," Josh said, "I'm feeling better now so I'm heading out."

"Good luck," Riku said

"Thanks," Josh said as he stood up. Josh pointed his keyblade to the sky, summoned his armor, and his keyblade transformed into a glider attached to his back of the armor. Josh took a couple of steps and jumped. The glider took Josh to the portal and Josh went in it.

Meanwhile…

"Nobody, it's time to see how you fair against Josh." Quxaa said.

"Okay where should I lead him?" Nobody asked.

"To the Keyblade Graveyard, also I'm coming with you to oversee the fight." Quxaa said.

Quxaa summon a keyblade, and Nobody looked a little puzzled at first. Then he accepted that Quxaa is a Keyblader. She pointed her keyblade and a portal opened. Nobody and Quxaa walked into the portal planning on meeting Josh.

Chapter 7: Nobody

Josh was gliding through the lanes in between when he saw two figures in black cloaks appeared. Josh increased his speed to charge at them. The two figures took off and Josh pursued them. They lead Josh to the Keyblade Graveyard. The two figures landed in the same area where Terra, Aqua, and Ventus fought against Master Xehnort and his apprentice Vanitas. Josh landed in the same area as well, but his armor disappeared. Josh walked up to them with keyblade in his right hand, and said, "Nobody, who is your friend next to you?"

"She is not my friend. She is just a co-worker," Nobody said.

"Okay, what do you want?" Josh asked.

"I want to fight you," Nobody said as he summoned his keyblade. Nobody charged at Josh, and Josh was already ready for the fight. Josh's and Nobody's keyblades 'clinked' and 'clanged' for a while, and neither of them appeared to be losing. Josh saw an opportunity to confront the other person by using his keyblade's special ability of splitting into two.

Josh's keyblade split into two and Josh was able to knock down Nobody. Josh charged at the other person with the intent to talk. Then the person just stood still waiting for Josh. Josh stop at the person and said, "Who are you?"

"My name is Quxaa, my prince," Quxaa said.

"How do you know that I'm the Prince of Hearts?" Josh asked.

"That is none of your business," Quxaa said.

"Besides Riku, Sora, Mickey, Lea, Master Yen Sid, Donald, Goofey, and the Seven Princesses of Hearts is Aqua that know that I'm the Prince of Hearts. So if I take the 'x' out of your name and rearrange the letters it spells Aqua. Am I right?" Josh said.

"You are a clever little Prince, but I'm not going to tell you if you are correct," Quxaa said.

"Then why don't you remove your hood," Josh said as he grabbed the hood. Quxaa couldn't move because the hood would be removed. Nobody got up and saw that Josh had Quxaa in a bind. Nobody charged at Josh hoping to make Josh let go Quxaa. Josh saw Nobody coming at him, so Josh pulled off Quxaa's hood off her head. Josh and Nobody couldn't move because Quxaa is Aqua except that Aqua's hair is now black and she had an evil look in her eyes.

"Aqua what happen to you?" Josh yelled.

"I've finally seen the power of the darkness Josh, and I like it. Soon my master will rule over both the realm of light and the realm of darkness. You, the Keybladers of light, and the Princesses of Hearts will either join us or be destroyed. This will happen once the finally pieces are put together. So Prince Josh come with me and fulfill your destiny," Aqua said.

"There is one problem; I'm not the Prince of Hearts right now. I'm the light half of the Prince, and Nobody has the dark half of the Prince. I'm not ready to merge with my dark half yet," Josh said as he combined the two halves into one. Josh punched his armor summoner and threw his keyblade to the sky. The keyblade became a glider and attached to the back of the armor. Nobody and Aqua charged at Josh with the intention of capturing him, but another person in keyblade armor rushed out to intercept Nobody and Aqua.

Josh recognized the armor configuration belongs to Terra. The Terra armor fought against Nobody and Aqua allowing Josh to escape. Josh took off and said, "Thank you Terra, and Nobody don't be consumed by the darkness."

Josh left the Keyblade Graveyard and flew so fast that Nobody and Aqua could catch him or figure out what world he was heading to. At the Keyblade Graveyard, Terra's spirited possed armor fought very hard against Nobody and Aqua, but it was overwhelmed when a mysterious figure appeared. The figure called Aqua and Nobody to a halt, and the figure consumed the armor forcing the armor to drop the keyblade. Then the figure merged with the armor, and forcing the fighting spirit of Terra to the keyblade. The figure took off the helmet, and its head was Terra's with yellow eyes. He turned around and said, "My name is Rexart, and I'm very disappointed with you two. Both of you should have waited until Josh has gained all of his childhood memories."

"What memories does my other half need to gain?" Nobody asked.

"The memories that deal with the first time meeting Aqua and after gaining those memories, then Josh will be up for grasp." Rexart said.

"There is one problem, how are we going to get Josh?" Aqua asked.

"In time my comrades, but Nobody I have a mission for you. I want you to capture the controller of the heartless." Rexart said.

Chapter 8: Tangled part 1

Josh flew for a while until he went by a world that didn't feel right to him, so Josh changed direction to that world. Josh flew down and saw a tower. He landed on top very softly, he saw a lady climbing down on a piece of rope. Josh unknowingly sensed that darkness followed the lady, and there was a light coming from inside the tower.

Josh waited until the lady was out of sight, and he went down to the ground. Josh's armor vanished, as well as his keyblade. Josh saw two people coming out of the tower and going down. The people that came down were a young man about the same age as Josh and a young woman with very long blonde hair.

Josh decided to follow these two, but hide from them. The young man and woman went into the forest that was in front of the tower. Josh went up the trees to follow them. Josh noticed that the young woman was having some problems caused she would be happy for one second and upset the next.

A mysterious shadow was following the young man and woman. Josh saw the shadow when the young woman and man were looking at a rabbit. They turned around and the shadow appeared to be a heartless. Josh decided to acted, and he jump from the tree where he was hiding. Josh stood in front of the heartless with keyblade in hand preventing the heartless from attacking the young man and woman.

Suddenly there were four more heartless and Josh fought and defeated all of the heartless. The young man stood there with his mouth open and the woman holding her frying pan like a sword. Josh turned around to them and said, "Do you mind me tagging along with you two. Also what are your names?"

"Sure having a heroic guy like you protecting us from those creatures. I'm Rapunzel," Rapunzel said.

"I agree and my name is Flynn," Flynn said.

"May I ask where you two going?" Josh asked.

"I'm escorting Rapunzel to the city," Flynn said, "and we were about to get something to eat, follow me."

Josh and Rapunzel followed Flynn to a restaurant. Josh tried his best not to step on Rapunzel's hair. Josh saw the restaurant was an old, but looked it was keep up. Josh started to sense that darkness was following them, but from a distance. Flynn came to the door opened it, and said, "Garson, your finest table please."

Josh saw that Rapunzel was scared and he understood why when he looked at what the people were in the restaurant. A big man came up to Flynn and slammed a piece of paper that had a picture on it which looked like Flynn with the words 'Wanted.' Flynn denied that the picture was him and someone grabbed Rapunzel's hair which caused her to run away from the person, and the person said, "That is a lot of hair."

"Yeah she is growing it out," Flynn said. Josh found himself a corner to lean up against, and the next thing that happen was that everyone was singing about having a dream. Flynn sung about his dream, and then Josh sung about his dream to become a master swordsman. After the song was over, a group of men in armor came in looking for Flynn. Josh, Rapunzel, and Flynn were hiding behind the bar, and one of the people in the restaurant pulled a lever which revealed a secret passage that Josh, Flynn, and Rapunzel went in.

They walked for a while until Josh and Flynn heard the sound of people running. Flynn helped Rapunzel picked up her hair, and they along with Josh ran until they made it out of the secret passage. They were standing on a cliff with a big dam holding a lot of water and a small drain coming from the dam. Flynn and Rapunzel saw two other people at the bottom of the cliff. Josh saw a cave a little ways out, then jumped off the cliff, and used his keyblade as a way to glide down. By time Josh was on the ground, Rapunzel managed to get down and Flynn was fighting the people on the cliff. Then heartless with the ability to fly came out of nowhere and started to go after Rapunzel.

Josh activated his armor summoner and attached his keyblade to his back. Josh head toward the heartless, but didn't have an idea on how to defeat them. A giant fireball formed at the handle of the keyblade glider. Several small fireballs emitted from the giant fireball which destroyed the heartless, and Josh landed back on the ground without his armor or keyblade. Flynn managed to come down, and started to run. Josh and Rapunzel saw why Flynn was running was that the dam was coming apart so they decided to run toward the cave.

Once they got into the cave, a big pile of rocks covered the entrance leaving no light. Then the cave started to fill with water. Flynn went underwater to see if there was a way out, but he did not find a way out. Then Rapunzel begin to sing a song and her hair glowed. Josh and Flynn saw a hole in the wall of rocks, so they begin to move the rocks to get out. After sometime Josh and Flynn managed to make an opening and the water with everyone in it went out into a river.

Josh, Flynn, and Rapunzel managed to get to shore. Flynn had a surprised-shocked look on his face and said, "Her hair glows."

Then he looked at the chameleon which gave Flynn a peace sign, and then Flynn said, "Why is he looking at me that way?"

Chapter 9: Tangled Part 2

Josh, Flynn, and Rapunzel made camp before dark. Rapunzel was tending to Flynn's injured hand that he received when he was digging out of the cave. Josh was sitting on the other side of Flynn and Rapunzel with his keyblade at his side. Then Josh saw Rapunzel's hair glowed when was singing her song, Flynn reacted when his hand was healed. Rapunzel began telling her background story of why was she living in the tower. Josh understood that her mother prevented her from leaving the tower because of her hair's magical power.

Josh heard Flynn telling his background story which was how he went with the nick name Flynn. Josh had a funny feeling like they were being watched by the darkness, and Josh could tell that the darkness was powerful because the Dragon Keyblade of World's Hearts was glowing very softly. Josh got up and said, "I'm going to check the area to be sure that there is no one around."

Josh used the Dragon Keyblade of World's hearts to find the source of darkness. Josh searched for a while then he saw someone. Josh slowly walked up, and said, "Who are you?"

The person said, "I thought I lost you at that swamp world, Nobody."

Josh was wondering why does Nobody want this person, and what worlds have Nobody been traveling to because Josh thought that Nobody would chase after him. Josh figured out that talking to this person he could find out so more information about Nobody. Josh said, "I'm not Nobody. My name is Josh a Keyblader of Light, and heir to become the Prince of Hearts. Who are you?"

"My name is Maleficent, and you look like Nobody. I have come to the conclusion that Nobody is you nobody Lord Josh. Nobody has been chasing after me from the orders of his leader Rextra who has a remarkable power of darkness that I can't touch. Also Rextra looks exactly like a Keyblader that I ran into many years ago named Terra." Maleficent said.

"So what power of darkness do you have that Rextra wants?" Josh said. In Josh's mind Josh was putting pieces together on what the enemy's wants and future moves are going to be which Josh knew that one move will be that Josh will fight against Nobody. Josh was also wanted to use the Dragon Keyblade of Worlds' Hearts to purify Maleficent's heart. Josh was about to make his move when Maleficent said, "Rextra is after my power over the Heartless. I've taught a few others how to use this power in order to get Nobody off my trail, but so far it ended in failure."

"Give me one reason why shouldn't I destroy you right here with the Dragon Keyblade of Worlds' Hearts," Josh said with the tip of the keyblade near Maleficent's heart. Josh was ready to strike when several heartless appeared around him. Josh diverted his attention to taking out the heartless which Maleficent used to escape. Josh defeated all the heartless and returned back to camp. When Josh got back to camp he noticed that Flynn and Rapunzel were already a sleep, so Josh found himself a nice place to lie down and went to sleep.

In the morning Josh awoke to Flynn screaming because he was being attacked by a white horse with a saddle on its back which had just managed to remove one of Flynn's shoes. Rapunzel jumped in the middle between the horse and Flynn trying to calm down the horse. Josh noticed that the Horse was looking at the chameleon Pascal on top of her head and that Pascal had managed to make the horse sit down. Then the horse let go of Flynn's shoe which Rapunzel started to pet the horse on the head. Josh heard Rapunzel say the horse's name Maximus. Josh walked slowly toward the horse and pet it along with Rapunzel.

Rapunzel talked to the horse which Josh heard that today is Rapunzel's birthday, and that after her birthday was over she would let the horse chase after Flynn to their hearts content. Maximus and Flynn shook hands as an agreement to make Rapunzel happy. Josh said, "Let's get moving everyone, and I won't call my keyblade for the rest of this trip except for emergencies."

Josh's keyblade vanished, and he was ready to go. Everyone else got ready to continue to the place where the floating lights come from. Everyone continue to walk to a kingdom on an island in the middle of a big pool of water. Rapunzel was very happy on arriving at the kingdom. Flynn and Maximus weren't getting along with each other and Pascil was making sure that they were getting along. Josh noticed that there was a festival going on in the kingdom and Josh told Rapunzel and Flynn that he is going to look around.

Josh went off and was wondering what the purpose of the festival is. Josh asked around and found out that the festival was to celebrate the lost princess' birthday. Then Josh learned that the lost princess was kidnapped eighteen years ago. Josh walked a little further and saw a titled mural of the King, queen and the baby princess. Josh looked carefully and saw that the princess had blonde hair like Rapunzel's hair. Also Josh noticed that the lost princess' eye color was the same as Rapunzel.

Josh couldn't believe that Rapunzel is a princess and this is her true home. Then Josh put the pieces together that the lady kidnapped Rapunzel as a baby and raised her as her own daughter. The reason that Josh came to was the power of Rapunzel's hair. Night fell and Josh decided to look for Flynn and Rapunzel. Josh arrived at the docks and found Maximus looking disturbed. Josh put his right hand on Maximus' head and closed his eyes. He saw everything that happened, and a plan formulated in his mind. Josh told Maximus that they need help, so they went to the pup.

Josh explained to everyone that Rapunzel has completed her dream and that her new one is to be with Flynn. Josh continue by saying that if they help Rapunzel complete her dream and they can achieve their dreams. Everyone was moved by Josh's speech and headed out to the kingdom along with Maximus to save Flynn. Josh decided to go and rescue Rapunzel. After everyone left Josh called upon his keyblade and activated his armor summoner. Josh sensed where the darkness in the lady was and took off in that direction.

Josh arrived at the tower hearing a fight between Rapunzel and the lady. Josh bust the window open and said, "You let Rapunzel go, Mother Gothel."

"Ah, you must be one of those keybladers that old witch was talking about. If you are here then that must mean that boy will be here soon. Looks like the guards couldnt get the job done, so I will make sure that boy doesn't come." Gothel said as a black aura surrounded her. A giant heartless appeared outside of the tower and started to march toward the direction of the kingdom. Josh took off after the heartless to stop it from reaching Flynn. Josh started a fight against the heartless after it was clear of the tower. Josh fought long and hard against it, and then Flynn came by. Josh told him to go and be careful. Flynn and Maximus head toward the tower, and Josh tried his best to defeat the heartless. Josh knew that he needed help to defeat the heartless, and was hoping that someone will come by.

The heartless knocked Josh down and was about to make the final strike. Then Josh saw Nobody block the attack. Josh was puzzled and said, "Let's defeat him together."

"No, you have to defeat Mother Gothel. Once she is defeated then this heartless will vanish because the heartless and Gothel are connected. Go I got this." Nobody said. Josh took off to the tower and when he got there. He saw Gothel falling out of the tower aging very fast and when she hit the ground she was dust. Josh went up and saw that Flynn was injured badly. Also Josh saw that Rapunzel's hair was short and brown. Josh knew that Flynn was going to die and only a miracle would save him. Then Josh saw a tear fall on to Flynn's cheek and vanished. The next thing was that a bright blonde yellow glow emanating from the wound. Flynn awoke and Josh felt something happened to him.

Chapter 10: Aqua

Josh passed out in the tower where Rapunzel and Flynn were in. Josh felt that this will give him the memories of how he and Terra first meet Aqua. Josh was hoping to recover these memories because he believed that the rest of the memories prior to the incident will come back.

Josh and Terra where sitting in class doing work and planning today's training when the teacher told the class that they have a new student. A girl was standing behind the teacher. The girl has blue hair and blue eyes, and she was a little sacred. The teacher told the class the girl's name was Aqua. The teacher escorted Aqua to Josh's and Terra's table, where Josh took a good look at Aqua and Josh fell in love with Aqua. Josh and Terra tried to help Aqua with the class work, but Aqua just wanted to do it by herself.

Josh asked, "Hey Terra, I want to try and work on my skills with using only one wooden sword. Is that alright with you?"

"Sure Josh, I was thinking of having that in our training regiment for today." Terra says.

"What are you guys talking about?" Aqua asked.

"It's Terra's and my training workout for us to become great Keybladers." Josh said.

"O.k. I hope you two accomplish your dream." Aqua said.

The class went for lunch which Josh and Terra were eating and still working on the workout for today while Aqua was sitting by herself. Josh noticed a group of boys in a huddle talking very quietly, and Josh guessed that these boys are going to do something to Aqua. When lunch was over, the class went outside for recess. Josh saw the group of boys begin to follow Aqua, so Josh followed the group of boys very quietly. Terra wasn't that far behind from Josh.

Aqua went to a corner of the playground and just sit there waiting for recess to be over. The group of boys had wooden swords for each boy. The group of boys surrounds Aqua and one of the boys said, "You aren't going to be anything just like Josh and Terra who think that they will become Keybladers."

Josh jumped into the middle of the circle and said, "I know for a fact that you all aren't Keyblader material."

Josh was holding a wooden sword in each of his hands. The group of boys began fighting against Josh, and Josh was fighting very hard to protect Aqua from the group. Then the group began to win against Josh in the fight. Then out of nowhere Terra jumped into the circle and joined the fight. The tide of the battle became more of a stalemate with neither side giving an inch. Josh and Terra were on each side of Aqua protecting her, and Josh managed to disarm one of the boys. The wooden sword landed next to Aqua, she picked it up, and joined the fight.

Josh, Terra, and Aqua begin to win against the group of boys and after half of the boys were defeated the rest of them ran away. The teacher that saw this from afar came to Josh, Terra, and Aqua, and said, "Well it looks like I have found three possible future Keybladers."

"You mean that Aqua, Terra, and I have the makings of becoming Keybladers." Josh said.

"That is what I said. The keyblade maker was standing next to me, and pointed out the fight. The next thing he said to me was that the people in the middle of the circle were possible Keybladers," The teacher said, "You three are going to be part of the Keyblader project, after some time you three will hopefully be sent to a Master Keyblader to complete your training. For now you three go and rest for now."

Later that day Josh, Terra, and Aqua were at the tree where Josh and Terra were training. Josh and Terra couldn't believe that they are one step closer to become Master Keybladers. Aqua decided that will be her goal as well. The Aqua said, "Thank you Josh for standing up to those bullies."

"No problem, and thanks Terra for watching my back. I think we three can make a great Keyblade team." Josh said.

"OH, I have a reward for you Josh." Aqua said.

"What is it?" Josh asked.

"Close your eyes and Terra don't say anything." Aqua said. Josh closed his eyes, and Aqua gave Josh a kiss on his right cheek. Josh fell to the ground, and Terra was laughing very loudly. When Josh opened his eyes and saw Terra laughing. Josh said, "What is so funny?"

"Nothing Josh," Terra said.

Josh regained consciousness and he was lying on the ground of the tower. Flynn and Rapunzel were wondering what happened to Josh so Rapunzel asked, "What happened Josh?"

"I regained or remember the first time I meet Aqua my…a…childhood friend," Josh said, "Let's get out of this tower."

"Is Aqua your girlfriend?" Rapunzel asked, and Josh's face turned bright red. Flynn, Rapunzel, and Josh managed to get out of the tower. Josh finally got his faced from bright red to his normal color, and said, "Aqua is actually my fiancé, but I don't know right now. She fell into the darkness and I don't know how to save her."

"I believe that you can find the answer when the time comes." Flynn said, "Right now I'm going to take Rapunzel back to her true home; do you want to come?"

"No thank you, just go ahead without me. I hope I am able to come to your wedding after I complete my quest." Josh said, and began to laugh. Flynn and Rapunzel along with Maximus, and Pascal left heading to Rapunzel's true home. After they were out of sight, Nobody came up to Josh and said, "Hello Josh."

Josh turned around and said, "I was wondering when you will show up. The one who you are searching for has left already. I can say one thing you are refusing to accept the memories we have from our childhood."

"I'm not after that person any more, and I am now accepting the memories." Nobody said.

"Come with me." Josh said.

"No, you go to Master Yin Sid, and I'll try to see if I can remove the darkness from Aqua." Nobody said, as he went into the portal. Josh knew what to do, and took off to Master Yin Sid's world.

Chapter 11: Master Josh

Josh made it to Yin Sid's world in no time flat. When he arrived Mickey was standing outside of the building waiting for Josh and said, "What happen to you?"

Josh looked at his clothes and saw that they were a little dirty. Then Josh said, "I must speak with Master Yin Sid."

"Alright Josh, I'm coming with you." Mickey said as he led Josh into the building. Once Josh entered Master Yin Sid's room, Master Yin Sid took one look at Josh, and said, " Did you find out who is this new enemy is?"

"The new leader of this group I believe is an evil version of Terra, and he managed to get Aqua to join with him. Also my nobody is part of this group, but I have a feeling that he might turn on them because of the memories that we have when we were a child. I have traveled to several worlds and learn a lot about myself. Which I feel that in order to save Aqua and Terra from this darkness that I should become a Keyblade Master, but you Master Yin Sid have the authority to do make me a keyblade master." Josh said, "Also I know what the real threat to the worlds is the original darkness. The original darkness is what the threat that the prince discover, and the darkness answered by planting seeds of darkness in people's hearts to control Kingdom Hearts."

"You believe that the true enemy that Aqua and your nobody are working for?" Yen Sid said.

"Yes, because when I was at the world before coming here, I meet Maleficent who told me that Nobody was trying to capture her so that the Original Darkness could absorb her powers and take control of the heartless." Josh said.

"Josh, you have completed the task that I asked you, so Josh you are now a Keyblade Master." Yen Sid said.

"Thank you Master Yen Sid," Josh said. Josh left and was outside of the tower when Josh saw Nobody laying down on the ground all beat up. Josh went over and carried Nobody on his back. Then Josh went back to the tower to see if Yen Sid could help. Once Josh was back in Yen Sid's room; Nobody woke up and said, "Josh I have to tell you something very important."

"What is it?" Josh asked.

"First is that you must remove all regrets that you have deep inside of you. Second is that I tried to talk with Aqua about the past, but she attacked me leaving me very weak. Then Rextra came up to me and said 'You may have Josh's darkness in you, but you don't know how to unless it. Tell Josh if you see him to leave Quaxa alone, she belongs to me.' Josh, Rextra is really Terra but consumed by the Original Darkness except for his spirit which is in his keyblade." Nobody said.

"I think that there is a little darkness in me and there is a little light in you." Josh said, "I believe that when our powers are unless that is when we can combine as one, and we'll have the power to save Aqua."

"Josh, There is something you should know about your home. The original Darkness has conquered your home except for one spot, and if the Original Darkness defeats you then the other worlds are in danger." Nobody said.

"Nobody, I would like for you to come with me." Josh said.

"Thanks for the offer but I'll stay here and rest for a bit." Nobody said.

"Josh go on; I'll look after Nobody." Mickey said. Josh left the tower and was trying to decide on where to go next. Then Josh saw a mysterious figure coming out of the tower carrying Nobody on his/her shoulders. Josh activated his armor and went after the person. The mysterious figure opened a darkness portal going into it which Josh followed the mysterious figure.

Chapter 12: Castle Oblivion

Josh came out of the portal and was standing in front of a castle. Josh took a look around trying to see where the mysterious figure went then Josh took out his wayfinder and looked at it trying to remember that Aqua gave him it so that he could find her. Josh decided to enter the castle, and once Josh entered the castle he heard a voice say, "To loose is too find and to find is too loose at Castle Oblivion."

"I have already lost something important to me. The only thing I have left is regrets, and I wish I could lose them instead," Josh said. Then Josh saw something on the ground, which he walked up to it, and picked it up. The thing was a card with a picture of Josh's home world on it. The next thing Josh saw a door, and walked up to it. When Josh got to the door the card began to glow. Josh held the card up, the door opened, and a blinding light consumed Josh.

When the light faded away Josh was standing on his home world ten years younger and holding the single blade version of his keyblade. Josh realized that he went back in time to a certain point that he questioned the choice which he kept deep down in his heart until now. Josh saw that he was on the hill where he questioned his choice. Josh walked around and suddenly a portal appeared. Josh walked up to the portal and remembered that he originally thought about entering the portal. Instead of going in it Josh walked away, but this time Josh walked into the portal.

Josh found himself in front of the Mysterious tower, so Josh went in the tower. Josh went to Master Yen Sid and asked him to take him as an apprentice. Yen Sid agreed and Josh trained hard for a number of years until Yen Sid told Josh to go to the Land of Departure for the Mark of Mastery Exam. Josh left the Mysterious Tower and head toward the Land of Departure. When Josh arrived Master Eraqus greeted Josh and told Josh that he was informed that Josh is here to take the Mark of Mastery. Master Eraqus lead Josh to the chamber where the Mark of Mastery. There was an old man sitting a chair, two other people around Josh's age standing there waiting for Josh and Master Eraqus to show up. Then Master Eraqus said, "Welcome our guests Master Xehnort and Master Yen Sid's apprentice Josh, Aqua, Terra."

"Welcome," Aqua and Terra said.

"Josh is taking the Mark of Mastery with you Terra and Aqua," Master Eraqus said, "Now let the Mark of Master begin."

Several light balls appeared, but they got infected by darkness. Josh, Terra, and Aqua fought against the light balls, and Josh saw another person who was watching the Mark of Mastery fighting the light balls as well. Josh overheard Terra and Aqua talking about the other person, and learned that his name is Ventus. Josh, Terra, Aqua and Ventus managed to destroy the light balls. Then Master Eraqus said, "That was unexpected, so let's move on to the next part. Josh, Terra, and Aqua, you three will face each other."

Josh, Terra, and Aqua stood facing each other. Josh made the first move against Terra, and Aqua attacked Josh. Josh saw Aqua attacking him and made Terra and Aqua fight each other. Then Josh decide to show off his skills by moving is hands from his keyblade, and Josh was holding two keyblades that looked alike. Terra, Aqua, Ventus, Master Eraqus, and Master Xehnort had a shocked looked on their face, and Josh said, "Now the real battle begins, and yes I can wield two keyblades. This ability is called duel wield."

Josh engaged Aqua and Terra which he took control of the battle. Some point during the battle Josh saw that darkness was coming out of Terra through his right hand. Then Terra was able to channel the darkness back, and Josh decided to end the battle by disarming both Terra and Aqua. Then Master Eraqus stood up and said, "Well done everyone. Josh I'll tell your Master about your results of the test. Terra you failed to control the darkness in you so I'm sorry you are not a Keyblade Master. Aqua you have shown that you have the Mark of Mastery. Congratulation Aqua you are a Keyblade Master."

"Congratulation Aqua, maybe sometime in the future we meet again. If we do meet would you go on a date with me?" Josh said. Aqua blushed for a bit and Josh left the chamber. Once outside of the castle, Josh opened a portal to Master Yen Sid's world, and went into it. Josh arrived at Yen Sid's world and saw a black mouse with two other figures standing with the mouse. Josh walked up to the mouse and said, "May I help you?"

"Hello, I'm King Mickey. This is Donald and Goofey, and may I ask what you are here for?"

"I'm an apprentice to Master Yen Sid, and I just took my Mark of Mastery exam. I was told that Master Yen Sid will tell me if I am a Keyblade Master." Josh said, "Also my name is Josh."

"Okay Josh lets go together and find out." Mickey said. They went up to Master Yen Sid's chamber and Yen Sid told Josh that he is a Keyblade Master. Then Yen Sid gave Josh an armor summoner, which Josh attached to his left shoulder. Once on, Josh's clothes changed to what Josh wore before entered Castle Oblivion. Afterwards Yen Sid told everyone that Master Xehnort vanished, and creatures that feed on negative emotions have appeared called unversed. Then Josh asked, "Do you want me to investigate this Master?"

"I have asked Master Eraqus' students to take a look into this. I have guesses you meet my other apprentice Mickey. So Mickey why are you here?"

"I've come to train so more Master." Mickey said. Yen Sid stroked his beard and looked at Josh. Josh got the idea to help Master Eraqus' students without letting them know from Master Yen Sid's expression. Then Josh saw something on Master Yen Sid's desk which Mickey grabbed ant took off. Josh followed Mickey outside the tower and the thing that Mickey took began to glow. By time Josh got to Mickey, Mickey took off in a ball of light bouncing from one point to another. Josh didn't know what to do and he noticed that Terra was there. So Josh went to Terra and asked how to use the armor summoner. Terra told Josh to hit the circle, after that throw his keyblade into the sky and it should transformed into a glider.

Josh did what Terra told him and took off after Mickey not knowing where he was going. Then the memory vanished and Josh found himself standing in the same room that he entered the castle. Then a voice came echoing in the room which said, "How was it so far?'

"I want to know more." Josh said, "I want to see what happens next."

"If you continue down this path, you may not like what you find." The voice said.

"I don't care, I want have all the regret that deals with my decision about whether or not I went into the portal." Josh said.

"You have been warned. I have created another card for you." The voice said. A blue card appeared in front of Josh, and Josh took it. Josh walked up to the door and held the card in front of it. A bright light engulfed Josh and the entire room. In a chamber in the castle, Ventus still seating in the same chair that Aqua put him to keep him safe said, "Josh, you can't remove regret. If you remove one then another will take its place."

Chapter 13: Birth by Sleep

Josh was flying in the lanes between trying to find Mickey. Then Josh saw Mickey heading to a world. Josh followed Mickey to this world which is called Radiant Garden. Then Mickey appeared next to Aqua who was protecting a young girl. Josh landed next to Mickey as he said, "Get her out of here."

Aqua took the young girl away from danger, and then rejoined the battle. Josh, Aqua, and Mickey fought hard against the unversed. Josh walked up to Aqua and said, "Remember what I asked you at the end of the Mark of Mastery."

"Yeah I do, and I would like to go on a date with you if you are a Keyblade Master," Aqua said.

"I'm a Keyblade Master, and my friend Mickey can vouch for me right Mickey," Josh said.

"That is right Josh is a true Keyblade Master," Mickey said. The young girl came back holding some flowers and gave them to Aqua. Aqua her compliments about the flowers then an old lady came up the stairs calling the name Kari. The young girl went running to the old lady. Then the old lady was telling a story of what happen to the worlds after the Keyblade War.

The thing that Mickey was holding began to glow and he took off again. Josh thought about going after him, but he felt that he should stay with Aqua. A giant helicopter unversed appeared and took off. Aqua followed the unversed and Josh was not that far behind. Aqua asked, "Josh shouldn't you go after your friend?"

"He will be alright, he has done this before. I went after him, but I couldn't find him until now." Josh said, "Something inside of me told me to follow you. It is like we have met before as kids."

"I don't remember," Aqua said. They followed the unversed to an area in the castle where there was two other giant unversed as well as Terra and Ventus where there. The three giants combine into one unversed. All four of them fought hard against the unversed and managed to defeat it. Aqua went to Terra and Ventus to tell them something, and Josh realized that the copy of his keyblade didn't vanished. Josh was wondering if he could combine the two together into one keyblade. Terra took off, followed by Ventus, then Aqua chased after them, and Josh decided to take off to look for Mickey.

Josh flew for a good amount of time in the lanes in between until he saw Aqua carrying Mickey who was knocked out and injured. Josh followed Aqua backed to Master Yen Sid's world. Aqua asked Yen Sid what happen to Master Eraqus. Yen Sid told Aqua that Master Eraqus is dead and that Terra played a part in Master Eraqus' death. Then Yen Sid told Aqua to go to the Keyblade Graveyard. Aqua left to head to the Keyblade graveyard, and Josh told Yen Sid about the two keyblades. Yen Sid told Josh to go to the Keyblade Graveyard to help Aqua, and he will send Mickey to back him up once Mickey is well. Josh took off to the Keyblade Graveyard

Josh made it to the Keyblade Graveyard, and saw that Aqua, Terra, and Ventus were standing together on one side and two other figures walking toward them. Josh landed in front of Terra, Aqua, and Ventus in his keyblade armor hold the two dragon keyblades. Josh combined the two dragon keyblades into one keyblade and pointed it up in the sky. Then Josh said, "Dragon Keyblade of worlds' hearts unlock the memories of those who were affected."

A small light flickered from the tip of the keyblade, and Terra, Aqua, and Master Xehnort put a hand to their hands to their heads. Aqua could not believe how handsome Josh has become. Terra could not be how powerful Josh became. Master Xehnort had a big evil smile on his face and said, "I have my Keyblade, and the Prince of Hearts decide to show himself."

"I'm the heir to the Prince of Hearts," Josh said.

"I remember the promise I made to Josh," Aqua said, "I have to marry Josh."

"Yeah I remember that promise. Aqua, you actually yelled it out load." Terra said. Josh took off at Master Xehnort and his apprentice. Terra wasn't that far behind Josh in charging at Master Xehnort and his apprentice. Xehnort moved his hand which the ground moved underneath Josh and Terra. Josh land on the ground knocked out and after a while Josh woke up seeing the chaos of the battle. Josh saw Xehnort's Apprentice Vanitas hovering on top of a snake of keyblades chasing Aqua, which Josh called upon his Keyblade glider. The glider equipped to Josh's back armor and Josh went after Vanitas. Josh's glider fired several beams of light at Vanitas which caused Vanitas to chase Josh instead of Aqua. At the mean time Ventas decided to go attack Xehnort and Ventas failed with his attack. Xehnort grabbed Ventas by the helmet and froze Ventas then dropped.

Aqua caught him, and at the same time Vanitas attacked Josh sending him out of the battlefield. Then a big blue heart heart appeared in the sky, which was the last thing Josh saw before passing out. Josh was awoken by Mickey and Mickey said, "Get up Josh, let's help them out."

Josh got his mind in the game and they marched on the battlefield. Josh and Mickey saw Aqua talking to a person that looked like Ventas wielding a new Keyblade. Josh recognized the Keyblade as the legendary 'X'-blade which is the Prince of Hearts' Keyblade, but it didn't look like the how the original 'X'-blade was described in legend. Ventas attacked Aqua but Mickey deflected the attack. Josh stood in front of Aqua ready to fight and he heard Mickey say, "That is not Ventas."

"He looks like Ventas, but darkness has merged with his heart of light. I'll take him and try to save Ventas." Josh said. Josh stretched his left hand out and the 'X'-blade tried to move out of the fake Ventas' hands. Ventas held tight and said, "How is this happening?"

"Even a replica 'X'-blade knows who is the Prince of Hearts is and will come to his aid." Josh said, "But let's sees how good you are."

Josh lowered his left hand and held his Keyblade with both hands. Josh split his Keyblade into two, and Mickey and Aqua stood next to Josh to fight with him. Josh, Aqua, and Mickey engaged Vanitas in battle which Vanitas was overcome by the combination attacks of Josh, Aqua and Mickey. Eventually Vanitas was defeated and the 'X'-blade was destroyed. Josh and Mickey found Aqua and Ventis floating in their armor in the lane between the lanes. Josh and Mickey took Aqua and Ventis to the Mysterious Tower to see Master Yen Sid.

Yen Sid explained the Ventis's heart is lost and has wondered into another person's heart that is the bright in light. Then Yen Sid went into further explanation the Ventis must be place some where he could be safe. Aqua volunteered to do this and Yen Sid told Josh to return to his home world to pick up a special item from his old master. Aqua took Ventis to a world and Josh took off to his home. They agreed to meet up and search for Terra together. When Josh reached his homeworld, everything went white.

Chapter 14: Ventis

Josh came out of the room and figured out what happened when he arrived at his home world. Josh was standing in front of a door and he opened it. Josh entered into a new room that had a thrown with a boy a sleep in it. Josh reconized the boy from the alter reality as Ventis. Josh walked up to Ventis and touched Ventis on his head. Josh saw images of what happen to Ventis and then of what happen to Sora. Josh removed his hand and sat down next to Ventis on the floor.

Josh spent some time collecting his thoughts of the events that happen will go through the alternate reality. Josh decided that the best idea is to talk it out even if Ventis won't be talking back to Josh. Josh said, "I hate to tell you but Aqua is brainwashed by the darkness and Terra is in pieces. I have no idea what to do?"

"Why are you doubting yourself?" a voice asked. Josh ponder for a bit and said, "Who says that I'm doubting myself."

"You are doubting yourself because you saw a different way your past could have happen." The voice said. Josh said, "But it still lead to the same point that I get put to sleep for a good amount of years in the light."

"Now you are back and you can save Aqua, Terra, and Ventus. You just need to become whole again. Nobody wants the same as well." The voice said. Josh took some time to think and finally was able to erase some of his doubt. Then Josh said, "I know that once Nobody has return to me I can be able to save Aqua, Terra, and Ventus. I have an idea of how to save Aqua, the wayfinder that she gave me must be the key. Thanks for helping me out."

Josh got up, turned to Ventus, and smiled. Then Josh walked out of the room, and someone said, "How did you find that chamber?"

Josh turn to his right and saw Aqua standing there in a furry. Josh was wondering what she did with Nobody. Also Josh remember seeing Aqua carrying Ventus to the chamber. Josh was ready for a fight and had a plan in mind as well. Josh said, "Aqua! I can save you from the darkness, and bring Terra back all you have to do is to take me to Nobody."

Aqua charged at Josh with ferocity. Josh defended himself and blocked every single attacked. Josh didn't want to attack Aqua, and didn't know what to do. Josh was only thinking of Nobody and that Nobody was the key. During the fight Josh decided to just surrender and let Aqua take him to Nobody. Josh threw down his keyblade to the ground, and said, "I surrender."

Aqua didn't move and Josh saw something holding Aqua back. The something that was holding Aqua back was Ventis. Josh dropped to his knees and said, "Ventis, stop. I know what I'm doing."

"I wished you could have been friends," Ventis said as he vanished. Aqua charged at Josh and knocked him out. Josh said as he passed out, "I will save you Ventis along with Terra and Aqua, and I'm the Prince of Hearts."

Aqua picked Josh up and carried him through a portal to his home world. Aqua laid Josh down in a circle and Rextra walked up to Josh carrying Nobody who was knocked out. Rextra said, "Now it is time for this two to fight. Quxaa what is the matter?"

"I saw something from my past." Aqua said. Rextra said, "Forget about it, I hope that this fight between Josh and Nobody will result in that both of them are destroyed. Quxaa if they combine with each other, you will destroy him."

At the Mysterious Tower, Riku, Mickey, Sora, and Lea were waiting for Master Yin Sid to tell them where Josh was so that they can back him up. All of them were wondering how Josh was doing and what can they do to help. Yen Sid said, "I'm trying to locate Josh or Nobody, but it seems that something is blocking it. Also Maleficient is not that far from where I'm having trouble locating Josh. I'm going to tell you something about Josh that I'm the only one left that knows a secret of Josh."

"What is it?" Mickey said. Yen Sid stroked his beard and said, "Josh was supposed to go with Aqua and Terra to be trained by Master Eriqus, but Master Disney stopped Josh from going. This was due to an event that happen which involved Master Xehnort, but there was two times that Josh could have been trained. I feel that Castle Obilivion showed Josh what would have happen if he went into that special portal. All of you will stay put until wait and hope that Josh knows what he is doing."

Chapter 15: The Final Battles Start

Josh woke up and saw Nobody standing up. Josh stood up and held his keyblade tight in hand. Nobody was ready for battle but didn't attack right away. Josh deactivated his armor and knew that the only way to win was to get Nobody's keyblade. Josh decide to see if there was a way to prevent the fight, and said, "Nobody, we don't have to fight just hand me the Keyblade of People's Hearts so we can become whole."

"Sorry Josh, but I have no control over anything of my body." Nobody said. Nobody took off his cloak and revealed that he is wearing the same clothes that Josh wore when he fought the anybody boss. Nobody charged at Josh with the intent of destroying Josh. Josh responded by charging as well with the intent of disarming Nobody and gaining control over his keyblade. When Josh's and Nobody's keyblade made contact a shock wave shook throughout the world and it caused the clouds to split as well. Josh and Nobody didn't move they just stood there staring at each other, and then a blinding light consumed them both.

Josh and Nobody were standing on a circle surrounded by darkness. The circle had an image of Josh wearing his current clothes holding the X-blade. Josh understood what is going on with the battle. Josh realized that Nobody is not his nobody but that Nobody is his dark half. Nobody looked around wondering what happen and then said, "Where are we?"

"We are in a special area created when our keyblades clashed. I understand what is the area is telling us. I'm the Prince of Hearts of Light and you are the Prince of Hearts of Darkness. We are just a half of the true Josh who is the Prince of Hearts. Both of us should be called Nobody until we come as one to reborn Josh the Prince of Hearts." Josh said. Josh decided not to split his keyblade into two, but just one keyblade. Josh knew that he would be at a disadvantage because his keybalde is a dual keyblade type.

Josh and Nobody began to fight each other, and Josh noticed that his keyblade has another special use in its single form. Nobody keep on attacking Josh which Josh defended very well. Josh began to see images of things that happen to Nobody when the keyblades made contact. Also Nobody was seeing the same thing as well of what happen to Josh. Josh started to begin to understand what happen to Nobody, and that the only way to save Nobody was to defeat him.

The first round of images that Josh saw was from the worlds that Nobody went to in search of Maleficient. The first one was a young boy with a black couldern, and a horned king using heartless to find this couldern. Then stopping the horned king and finding out that Maleficent hasn't even visited that world. The final images were Nobody reporting to Rextra that the mission was a failure and Rextra doing something to him.

The second round of images that Josh saw was Nobody helping out two frogs to become human. Then seeing Nobody meeting up with him at Rapunzel's world and leaving to see Quxaa. Afterwards Josh saw that Nobody was trying to talk with Quxaa trying to get some answers. Then the last images Josh saw Rextra fighting Nobody and Rextra won. Then Rextra did something so that Nobody's will won't interfere with his plans.

After seeing the images, Josh came up with a plan to win the fight. The plan is to disarm Nobody, remove the damage that Rextra did, and finally merge together. Josh used his keyblade as a shield waiting for Nobody's attack. Nobody lunched his keyblade at Josh which he caught it with his keyblade. Josh struggled hard to force Nobody's keyblade out of his hands while Nobody was trying to move his keyblade out of Josh's keyblade. The struggle lasted for a while unitl Josh was able to force Nobody's keyblade out of his hand. Josh pushed Nobody back, and grabbed Nobody's keyblade with his right hand.

Josh touched the tips of both keyblades and had the tips pointed at Nobody's heart. Josh fired a beam from the keyblades and it made contact with Nobody's heart. Josh concentrated on trying to either remove Rextra's darkness or to remove his part of him from Nobody. Josh tried to remove Rextra's darkness and it didn't work because Rextra's darkness was more powerful than Josh thought. Josh switched to retrieving the other part from Nobody.

Josh started first by retrieving the rest of his darkness which was easier than Josh thought because his darkness was being forced out by Rextra's darkness. Nobody's eyes which were the same as Josh began to change into an evil yellow color. Josh finished absorbing his darkness and focused on getting the last of his light part. The light part was harder because Rextra's darkness was trying to keep the light part from leaving. Josh used all of his strength to remove it from Nobody and merged it in him.

Josh dropped to his knees out from being exhausted for reclaiming his other half from Nobody. Josh looked at Nobody and noticed that Nobody was disappearing. Nobody said, "Thank you for saving me, all of my memories are stored deep in your heart. There is something in my cloak that can help you save Aqua and Terra. One last thing do not underestimate the power of the Original Darkness or suffer the fate that the Prince of Hearts would have suffered."

"If you were alive you would have made a great rival and friend. Goodbye Nobody." Josh said with a couple of tears coming out of his eyes. Nobody vanished and a bright light consumed Josh. When the light faded away Josh was back where he was before fighting Nobody but he had Nobody's cloak on top of his clothes as well as holding his keyblade and Nobody's keyblade in his hands. Josh looked inside of the cloak and found a blue wayfinder and a red wayfinder. Josh put the wayfinders inside one of his pockets; started to walk toward the castle.

Josh was heading to the castle because it was the only place that darkness couldn't take over. Josh reason for going to the castle was to create an opening so Sora, Riku, Mickey, Lea, Donald, Goofy and Kari could arrive to help him. Josh knew that fighting the Original Darkness was going to take everyone and the X-blade as well. Josh was almost at the castle when Quxaa attack him.

Josh dodge the attack and the cloak fell off. Quxaa stood frim with her keyblade in her hand ready to attack. Josh learned from the fusion with his other half that love is a type of light that can repel darkness. Josh came up with a plan but it had a very dangerous consequence if it went wrong. Josh knew that the consequence is his destruction, and was ready to take the risk. Josh said, "If the Aqua I knew, and fell in love with as well as the one that Terra, and Ven knew is gone forever, then destroy me with all your might."

Josh threw his keyblades to the ground and closed his eyes waiting for the attack. Quxaa hesitated for a second, but charged at Josh. She jumped into the air and closed her eyes as well. Her keyblade was about to make contact with Josh when the sound of keyblades could be heard very loudly across the world.

Chapter 16: Love is a Light

Quxaa and Josh open their eyes and saw Terra's and Ven's keyblades protecting Josh from Quxaa's attack. Josh saw the spirit of Terra and Ven holding their respective keyblade, and Josh heard them say, "We know that you can save Aqua. We want to help you so grab the keyblades and we'll help you."

Josh grabbed the keyblades and flung Quxaa away from him. Josh charged at Quxaa and begin to attack her which she defended. Josh came up with a new plan during his attack, and the plan was first to disarm her then go from there. Josh's attack were focused on disarming Quxaa while Quxaa was trying figure out an opportunity to attack Josh. Josh and Quxaa exchanged attacks for a while, and it looked like a couple having a fight.

Josh changed his gears of attack by waiting for Quxaa's attack then make a counter attack. Josh waited for Quxaa's best attack, and Quxaa used her best attack to attack Josh. Josh countered it with a special move, and disarmed Quxaa. Josh let go of both keyblades and pulled out Aqua's wayfinder. Josh placed Aqua's wayfinder on Quxaa's heart, pulled his body close to her body, wrapped both of his arm around her, and kissed Quxaa on the lips with his lips. A bright light enveloped them. Rextra was observing the fight and when he saw the light he said, "Where did I go wrong with my plan of destroying the Prince of Hearts. I guess I'll go to plan B."

Josh was floating in a dark void surrounded by light, and he could see Aqua attached to something. Aqua had a very faint light surrounding her. Josh flew closer to Aqua. He was about to touch Aqua when something stopped him. The something was Rextra and he stood between Josh and Aqua. Rextra said, "You can't have Aqua, she is mine. Once I destroy you, Aqua will finally belong fully to me."

"You can't destroy me, I have a power that can defeat you." Josh said. Rextra started to do something to Aqua that caused her to scream. Josh couldn't believe what he was seeing and two lights emerged from his pants. The two lights were his wayfinder and Aqua's wayfinder, and they began to twist around together forming a keyblade. The keyblade was something that Josh had never seen from his keyblade making training because he memorized all the keyblades that were known. Josh grabbed the keyblade, flew up to Rextra, and kick him between the legs.

Rextra stopped what he was doing to Aqua and turned around to Josh seeing holding a new keyblade. Rextra looked confused about this new keyblade and what does it do. Josh backed away a light bit and fired a beam of light from the keyblade to Rextra. Rextra yelled in pain and said, "I'm immune to light except for a particular one. What kind of light is this?"

"This light power comes from the power of love. To be more specific the power of loving someone special. I love Aqua with all my heart and her heart has answered. This keyblade is forged from that because love is a light that penetrate darkness." Josh said, and kept his focus to keep the beam going. Rextra couldn't move and he began to suck in the darkness.

Rextra channeled the darkness that he was sucking into forming a keyblade. Once the keyblade was completed Rextra fire a beam from it to cancel the beam of light.

The light beam was canceled out by the beam of darkness and Rextra was free to move. Josh charged at Rextra hoping to defeat Rextra and freeing Aqua. Rextra charged at Josh and their keyblades clashed. Both of them didn't move an inch, then Josh removed his left hand from his keyblade and called upon his own keyblade. Josh spinned to his right and stabbed Rextra in the back with his Dragon keyblade of World's hearts. Rextra and Josh's main keyblade disappeared, and Josh walked up to Aqua. Josh cut what was binding Aqua with his special keyblade. Aqua fell down but Josh caught her and held her tight. Josh said, "It is time for me to go. The darkness is gone, and I will need your help."

A bright light consumed Josh and he was return back to the battle field. Josh and Aqua was still kissing and holding each other tightly. Josh and Aqua opened their eyes and stopped kissing. Josh let go of Aqua and Aqua dropped down to her knees. Josh picked up the cloak, put it on him, grabbed Terra's keyblade, and went over to Aqua. Josh had Aqua hold Terra's keyblade, and Josh pick Aqua up in his arms. Josh holding Aqua walked to the castle, and entered it. Josh place Aqua on the ground and laid his cloak with her while he was holding Terra's keyblade. Aqua said, "Josh thank you for saving me, and please don't go out there again. I don't want to lose you because I love you. Let's get out of here recover and bring reinforcements to help us."

"We can't leave Aqua. The darkness won't allow us to leave here until it destroys The Prince of Hearts which we know is me. Besides there is still one more friend left to save, and I know what I must do. Stay here in the castle it will protect you as it did me those many years ago when I fought to protect our home world."

Josh summoned his Dragon Keyblade of Worlds' hearts, activated his keyblade armor, and walked out of the castle. Josh walked some distance from the castle and found Rextra standing there waiting for him. Josh was ready to fight to Rextra, and Rextra was in Terra's keyblade armor. Josh said, "It is time to save you Terra."

At the Mysterious Tower, Yen Sid saw something in the stars and said, "I have seen two beckons of light come from Josh's home world. The first was when Nobody and Josh merged, and that is why the X-blade is gone. The second is when Josh rescued Aqua from the darkness. The only way for you keybladers to go is for Josh to use the X-blade to create a portal for you. I want everyone except for Kari to go because I fear that the darkness would try to take over her. The next battle is about to start. I hope Josh can put Terra together."

Chapter 17: A Friend Will Always Be There

Josh and Rextra stood starring at each other waiting for the other to make a move. Josh was holding Terra's keyblade in one hand and his own keyblade in the other. Rextra was holding Master Xehenort's keyblade. Josh asked, "How did you get that keyblade?"

"I gave this keyblade to Xehenort when I told him my plan. I told him that I was himself from the future when I meet him. I planned it all. I planted seeds of darkness in every things hearts except for the Princess of Hearts. I caused the first Prince of Hearts to vanish leading to the Keyblade war. Now I need to finish my plan by destroying you, and absorbing Maleficient's power over the darkness so I can control what my seeds created. You have darkness in your heart but it is a different type of darkness that I fear. Also what happen to you was not part of my plan" Rextra said. Josh understood what Rextra said that everything that happen to everyone and he is the only one that can stop the plan.

Josh knew that he needed to get Terra back first then go from there. Josh took a fighting pose waiting for Rextra to attack. Rextra attack Josh and Josh countered with Terra's keyblade. When Terra's keyblade made contact with Rextra, a part of Terra that was inside his keyblade went in Rextra. Josh could feel that what Terra was doing through Terra's Keyblade, and Rextra didn't show any signs of what happened. Josh came up with the strategy to guard and counter Rextra's attack until Terra gives him the go to use his powers.

Rextra continued keeping on attacking Josh and Josh kept to his strategy. Both of them looked like they were two brother fighting against each other. Josh knew that his strength was slowly leaving him because he hasn't had the proper time to recover from his two fights. The battle shock the whole world whenever the Josh's keyblade made contact with Rextra's keyblade or when Terra's keyblade made contact with Rextra.

Aqua could feel the shock waves of the battle and place both of her hands on her chest hoping that Josh will come back with Terra. Even Master Yen Sid could even make out the shock waves from looking into the stars and was shocked to see that Josh was going weaker. Maleficient could even feel the shock waves from where she was waiting for the original darkness to fall. All the worlds could felt a shock wave from the battle. It was like the entire fate of the Worlds was to be determine by this battle.

Josh noticed that half of Terra had already left Terra's keybalde and Rextra started to notice that something wasn't was wrong when his left side of his body would not move. Josh could see that the left side of Rextra's face was Terra's own face. Rextra said, "What is going on? Why can't I move my left half of my body?"

"I'm what is going on Rextra. I, Terra, am taking back my body with a help from a friend. Only half of me managed to claim my body back so you won't be going anywhere." Terra said. Josh kneeled to catch his breath and said, "It is almost over Rextra, no Orginal Darkness. You will not take any of my friends away from me again."

"How are you going to do that when you have barely any strength left to fight?" Rextra said. Josh stood up and threw Terra's keyblade to Terra. Terra caught it and the rest of Terra merged into Terra. Josh could see the struggle happen that Rextra was try to stay in Terra's body and Terra was trying to get Rextra out. Josh pointed his keyblade at Terra and said, "Terra, I'll always be there to help you because you are my friend."

A beam of light emitting from Josh's keyblade made contact with Terra and Josh was teleported inside Terra to help him. Josh could see that Terra and Rextra were equal in strength, and Josh joined the fight. Terra and Josh nod their heads because they knew how to fight together from those years when they were just kids. Josh and Terra proved too much for Rextra with their combo moves and attacks. Eventually Rextra was defeated and left Terra's body. Josh shock Terra's hand and vanished.

Josh was about to fall down when Terra caught him and said, "I got you Josh. Let's go to the castle know."

Terra helped Josh walked to the castle. When they were about to enter, Josh pushed Terra in the castle and turned around. The original darkness had taken a human form of a combination of Xehnort, Terra, and a Darkside Heartless. Josh stood still holding his keyblade, and the original darkness blasted a very big and powerful beam. Josh didn't doge because the beam would hit Terra and Aqua. The beam hit Josh destroying his keyblade armor above his waist, jacket, and armor summoner. After the beam vanished, Josh was wearing his shirt, shoes, and gloves from his mark of mastery clothes and his leg keyblade armor. Josh dropped to his knees and Terra and Aqua ran out to bring Josh in the castle. Terra asked, "Josh why you just stood there and take on that attack?"

Josh took a deep breath and said, "I did that because a friend will always be there to protect his or her friends."

Chapter 18: The Return of the Prince of Hearts

Terra and Aqua got Josh into the castle, and Aqua threw Nobody's cloak over him. Josh put his arms in the sleeves of the cloak, and began to crawl to the entrance of the castle. Aqua hugged Josh from behind and Terra was in front of Josh pushing him back. The Original Darkness stood there in front of the castle waiting for Josh to come. Terra and Aqua both knew that the only way to keep Josh from going out was to fight.

Terra and Aqua left Josh alone and went to fight the Original Darkness. They couldn't land a single blow because the Original Darkness knew how they fought. Josh watched the fight as he still crawled toward the battle field. Josh could see that Terra and Aqua needed his help and he knew that the Dragon Keyblade of Worlds' hearts and the Keyblade of People's hearts would not turn the tide of the battle. Josh started to look inside of himself to find the answers.

Josh was standing on top of a circle that had an image of him with the Dragon keyblade of World's hearts and the keyblade of people's hearts behind his image. Josh saw something stuck in the middle of the circle. Josh walked up to it and had to take a second look because it was something familiar. The thing was the X-blade, but it had a different color scheme. It looked like Sora's Kingdom Keyblade, and Mickey's Kingdom Keyblade of darkness crossed to from and X. The blade part was half silver and half gold, and the wings had seven different colors: pink, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple each representing the seven Princesses of Hearts.

Josh grabbed the X-blade and started to pull it out. It started to move but then it stopped moving. Josh tried again but nothing happen. Then a voice spoke to Josh, "Who are you?"

Josh looked around to see where the voice was coming from but no one was around. Josh then said, "I'm Keyblade Master Josh, and I'm trying to pull out the X-blade."

Josh held tight to the X-blade, and the voice said, "Why do you want to pull out the X-blade when it doesn't belong to you?"

Josh took some time to think on how to answer the question, and then Josh said, "I need to use it to save my friends, and the worlds."

The voice said, "The X-blade only answers to one person, and who are you?"

Josh was puzzled that the voice asked the same question that it asked the first time. Then Josh started to remember his past which held the answers. Josh went all the way to the event that caused him to be separated from Aqua and Terra. The answer came to Josh and he closed his eyes so that his heart can answer. Josh said, "I'm Keyblade Master Josh, and I'm the Prince of Hearts!"

Josh opened his eyes and the X-blade was removed from the circle. The image changed by showing Josh holding the X-blade. Josh knew that this was the answer, and somehow recovered his strength as well.

Josh was at the entrance to the castle when Aqua and Terra were both knocked down to the ground. Josh raised his right hand and the X-blade that Josh pulled out was summoned. Josh grabbed the X-blade and felt its power surging in him by giving him his strength back. Josh stood up on his feet and helped Aqua and Terra get back up. Josh pointed the X-blade at the original darkness, and said, "The Prince of Hearts has return, and this time you will be destroyed. Aqua and Terra, I'm going to need your help."

Terra and Aqua stood by Josh side ready to fight. Josh charged in followed by Aqua and Terra. The original darkness was overwhelmed from the attacks by Terra, Aqua, and Josh. Terra and Aqua were focusing on keeping the original darkness distracted while Josh was getting ready for the final attack. The time came when Terra and Aqua managed to disarm the original darkness, and Josh did one final strike with the X-blade to destroy the original darkness.

The original darkness was destroyed and the worlds were saved. Josh, Terra, and Aqua walked backed to the castle. Once inside Josh stood inside the circle that was in the castle courtyard, and pointed his X-blade up which a beam of light emitted from it. Then eleven lights appeared around show. The lights faded away reveling the Seven Princesses of Hearts, Sora, Riku, Mickey, and Lea. Then Josh heard someone say, "Well, well this is a magnificent castle for me to rule from. Thanks your majesty for destroying the original darkness so that I can absorb its power."

Josh turned to where the sound was coming from and saw Maleficient standing in the entrance of the castle with a dark ora surrounding her. Josh ordered everyone to take shelter in the great hall of the castle while he holds off Maleficient. Josh fought hard to hold Maleficient off, but she was too strong for Josh to fight. Once everyone got inside, Josh went inside as well carrying three keyblades. Maleficient said, "I'll wait for you to come out Prince of Hearts while I cover this entire castle in darkness."

Chapter 19: The Hidden Powers

Josh started to make holders for his keyblades and putting the holders on him followed by the keyblades going in them. Josh had on holder by his left hip holding the Keyblade of People's hearts, and the other holders were combined and on his back holding the Dragon Keyblade of World's Hearts and the X-Blade. Josh turned to everyone and said, "There is only one way to defeat the original darkness, but there is one problem. We are missing the wind keyblader guardian to the Prince. We have the earth and water keyblader guardians to the Prince."

"Who are the wind, earth, and water keyblader guardians?" Mickey asked. Josh gathered his thoughts in order to come up with a plan and tell everyone. Josh could feel Maleficient trying to get in but to no success. Then Josh said, "Well the earth keyblader guardian is Terra, the water keyblader guardian is Aqua, and the wind keyblader guardian is Ventis. Legends spoke that the Prince of Hearts heir would be guarded by this guardians. Each of the guardians can control a spirit associated to their elements to protect this world from darkness. Ventis' body and mind are at Castle Obilivion and his heart is here inside Sora's heart. I want all the keybladers to summon their keyblades."

Sora, Riku, Mickey, Aqua, Terra, Lea, and Kari summoned their keyblades. Josh was surprised to see a Princess of Hearts to be a keyblader so Josh decided to use one of his many hidden powers to make all the Princess of Hearts keybladers on this world. Josh raised his right hand up to and six small beams of light left his hand going to the other Princess of Hearts. The Princesses of Hearts clothes were changed to more of a way that they can fight with their keyblades except for Kari. Josh then raised his left hand and a portal appeared. Josh said, "Aqua, Terra, Sora, Mickey, and Myself are going through the portal to bring Ventis back. The rest of you do your best to keep Maleficient at bay until we return, and Riku you call the shots until I come back."

Josh lead Sora, Terra, Aqua, and Mickey through the portal that lead them to Castle Oblivion close to where Ventis is in the castle. Josh let Aqua take the lead so she can so where Ventis was. Everyone started to wonder how Josh was able to grant the power of the keyblade to all of the Princesses of Hearts, and what other powers does Josh have as well. After a while everyone arrived in front of the chamber where Ventis is. Aqua opened the door and everyone entered in the chamber. Josh turned to everyone and said, "You are wondering what powers I have and how did I know that I had them. The answer is that while I was growing up I spent time studying the abilities of the Dragon Keyblade of World's Hearts and the Prince of Hearts when using the true X-blade. My dream is to become the greatest keyblade master of all times. Meaning that I had to become the Prince of Hearts to achieve my dream. Now let's put Ventis together, Sora would you stand directly in front of Ventis, Aqua, Terra, and Mickey stand behind Ventis. It is time to use the Dragon Keyblade of World's Hearts special ability in its duel wield form."

Everyone followed Josh's instructions and Josh drew his Dragon Keyblade of World's Hearts. Josh spilt his Dragon Keyblade into two then he connected the handles together with an end pointing at Sora and the other at Ventis. Josh closed his eyes and two beams emitted from the keyblade. Josh's conscience was transported to Sora's heart. Josh saw a young Sora holding a ball of light. Josh walked up to Sora and said, "What is special about this ball of light?"

"It came to me when I was four, and I have been watching after it all these years." Sora said. Josh said, "That ball of light is a special friend whose friends are waiting for him. Can you let me have it so I help it return back to its heart?"

Sora looked in Josh's eyes and could tell that he was telling the truth. Sora handed the ball of light over to Josh, and Josh said, "Hello Ven, your friends are waiting for you."

Josh left Sora's heart with Ventis' heart in his hands. Josh arrived at the place where Ventis heart was supposed to be and saw it in ruins. Josh knew what to do, and said, "Ventis your heart was damaged, now it will be healed."

Josh stretched out his right hand while holding Ventis in his left. The Dragon Keyblade appeared and three lights appeared. Josh closed his eyes and with one triwl of his keyblade he created a place for Ventis's heart to stay. Josh landed on the place and let go of Ventis which the ball took the form of Ventis. Ventis could see that the three balls of light were his friends. Ventis turned to Josh and said, "Thank you."

Josh started to vanished and said, "It was my pleasure."

Josh opened his eyes and the beams of light vanished. Josh returned the Dragon Keyblade back to its normal form, and put it back to its holster. Ventis opened his eyes and said, "What is going on?"

"I'm Josh the Prince of Hearts, and I helped your heart return back to you. I'm a childhood friend of Aqua and Terra before they went off to train with Master Eraquis. This is Sora, who was safeguarding your heart until the time was right." Josh said, "Right now I know you have a lot of questions, but it is not the time to answer them. I'm going to open three special portals that lead to the summoning chambers of the elemental guardians of my home world. Terra, Aqua and Ventis go into these portals and call upon the elemental guardians."

"Josh please be careful." Aqua said. Josh could tell that Aqua really cared for him and Josh said, "Don't worry, I'll be fine I have another part of the plan."

Josh used his X-blade to create the three portals and Terra, Aqua, and Ventis went in them. After the portals closed, Josh opened another leading back to where they came from. He, Mickey, and Sora went into the portal to return back to Josh's home world. When they got there Maleficient was in battle against the elemental guardian spirits of Josh's home world. Josh handed the Dragon Keyblade of World's Hearts to Lea, and the Keyblade of People's Hearts to Riku. Josh asked the princess of hearts to circle around him as he pointed the X-blade up to the sky. Sora, Mickey, Riku, and Lea did the same thing as Josh did, and a bright light consumed them all.

Chapter 20: The Elemental Kingdom Heart Warrior

Lea, Riku, and the seven princess of hearts fought hard to protect the main chamber from Drakness Maleficient. Darkness Maleficient manged to take down the barrier that was protecting the chamber. When Darkness Maleficient broke into the main chamber, Riku took point of the formation. Riku didn't know what to do, and then he heard a roar coming from a distance. Darkness Maleficient was about to enter the main chamber when something grabbed her and threw her away from the chamber.

When Darkness Maleficient saw what grabbed her, a mighty T-Rex was standing in front of the main hall with an eagle and a mermaid. The T-Rex said, "You will not lay a hand on the Princess of Heart, or any other keyblader."

"Of the keybladers I'll make sure that you will not touch the Prince of Hearts." The mermaid said. Then the T-Rex, Eagle and Mermaid engaged in battle against Darkness Maleficient. As the battle was getting started, a light emerged from the main chamber. Once the light faded five more guardian spirits were standing in front of the main chamber. The five guardian spirts were a white dragon, white lion, black fox, black tiger, and a warrior. Darkness Maleficient saw these guardians and didn't know what to do. Then the warrior spoke, "Darkness Maleficient standing before you are the guardians of Kingdom hearts, and the Elemental Guardians of the Prince of Hearts."

"I see so all the guardians have shown themselves. I do not fear any of you especially you Prince of Hearts." Darkness Maleficient said as she let a blast wave that knocked backed the elemental guardians. The warrior took a step forward, and Josh knew that combining all the Kingdom Hearts guardians together like he did when facing the anybody leader. Josh communicated his plan to Lea in the White Dragon, Sora in the White Lion, Mickey in the Black Tiger, and Riku in the Black Fox. Then all the guardians of Kingdom Hearts combined together to form the Kingdom Hearts Warrior.

The Kingdom Hearts Warrior fought hard against the Darkness Maleficient but the Warrior was not able to turn the tide of the battle. Darkness Maleficient was equal in strength and power to the Kingdom Hearts Warrior. Aqua who was piloting the mermaid guardian wanted to help Josh, and then an idea came to her. The idea was to combine the elemental guardians with the Kingdom Hearts Warrior. Aqua said, "I the guardian of water combine my power with the Kingdom Hearts Warrior."

Terra and Ventis followed what Aqua did and all three of the elemental guardians glowed. Then the Kingdom Hearts Warrior glowed as well, and the three guardians became three beams of light. The three beams of light merged with the Kingdom Hearts Warrior, and the Kingdom Heart Warrior became the Elemental Kingdom Heat Warrior. The Elemental Kingdom Heart Warrior looked like The Kingdom Heart Warrior but it was wearing three armor pieces that represented the Elemental guardians.

The Elemental Kingdom Hearts Warrior continued the battle against Darkiness Maleficient. The Warrior and Maleficient were on equal grounds at first but then the Warrior started to win the battle. In The Elemental Kingdom Heats Warrior, Josh was looking for where Maleficient was inside of Darkness Maleficient so that he can end this fight. The battle seemed that it wasn't going to end, then Josh saw the opening he was looking for in Darkness Maleficient.

A light beam emitted from the Elemental Kingdom Hearts Warrior went into Darkness Maleficient and came out on the other side with a ball of darkness. The light beam was Josh and the ball of darkness was Maleficient. They were taken away from the battlefield, and were transported to a scared battlefield. The scared battlefield was a circle that was half was white and half dark. Josh on the white half holding the X-Blade, and Maleficient on the dark half hold a keyblade version of her staff.

Josh knew what he must do, and he have to get over of being use to using two keyblades for the fight. Josh grabbed the X-Blade with both of his hands, and charged at Maleficient with all of his might. Maleficient didn't know what to do but to dodge Josh's attacks. Maleficient keep dodging Josh's attack but Josh was able to come up with a strategy. Josh stopped his attacks and said, "Is this what you can do now fused with the power of the Original Darkness."

Maleficient said, "You are much better than the Orignial Prince of Hearts. When I was threating the worlds, he ran away and I have been searching for him. I'm using Maleficient to speak to you Prince Josh. I will defeat you first, and then continue my search for the Prince by using the Princesses of Hearts, Riku, Sora, Mickey, Terra, Ventis, Lea, and especially Aqua."

Josh felt a rage building inside of him, and he twirled the X-Blade around until it glowed. Josh pointed the tip of the X-Blade at Maleficent and a big ball of light form at the tip. Josh said, "I will destroy you and find the Prince of Hearts myself."

Josh fired the ball of light at Maleficient and it destroyed Maleficient leaving no trace of her or her darkness. Josh closed his eyes and fell down to the ground. Josh left the scared battlefield and return back.

Josh felt something touching his lips and then he woke up seeing Aqua holding him. Josh got up to his feet and gathered his keyblades up. Josh walked a couple steps and then Yen Sid appeared. Yen Sid said, "Now that the Prince of Hearts is found, and his home world is saved. It is time for the Prince of Hearts Cornation ceremony. The ceremony has two parts, the first part is a marriage and the other is the crowning of the Prince of Hearts. Aqua you said to Josh that if he is the Prince of Hearts, that you will marry him. Well Josh is the Prince of Hearts, so we well have the ceremony in a week."

Josh didn't know what to say but he knew that in his heart there is one question that needs to be answered. The question is where the Original Prince of Hearts is now. Josh was about to sneak away but Terra and Ventis caught him and put him in a room in the castle which doesn't look like a castle in ruins but what it originally looked like. Josh knew that in his heart that he wasn't the Prince of Hearts, and that he hasn't accomplished his dream either. Josh started to become lost in his heart and didn't know what to do. Josh said, "Where are you, Prince of Hearts?"
