With it being close to Christmas I felt like doing a story having to do with it and this is what I came up with, hope you like it. Merry Christmas everyone.
Jack Frost was flying over a small town one Christmas eve when he heard the sound of someone singing not too far from where he was and decided to find out who it was. Following the singing he soon saw a group of young children and adults gathered in a group, wrapped up in coats, hats, gloves, scarves and blankets as they stood outside next to a small wooden stable with a small manager set just inside it filled with hay.
Laying in the manger was a tiny baby boy, swaddled tightly in blankets to keep him warm, kneeling beside the manager was a man and woman looking lovingly down at the baby. Kneeling outside where more men, some with a shepherd's crook and sheep laying down by them, other men bearing gifts which they offered to the baby.
Jack landed softly on the ground and silently listened in awe as the choir sang Christmas songs, most of them about the birth of the Christ child and frozen tears fell from Jack's eyes for a reason he couldn't understand. As he stood there a small group of children, dressed in white with homemade wings and halos come out from behind the stable, singing as they did.
A hand came to rest on Jack's shoulder, "It's beautiful isn't it." North asked as he, and the other Guardians, joined him. Jack simply nodded, not trusting his voice enough to answer. As the choir started singing 'Oh come all ye faithful' North stepped around Jack, moving to kneel next to the manager, Sandy, Bunny and Tooth right behind him. "Come Jack, join us." North told him softly and Jack soon found himself kneeling next to his fellow Guardians.
As each Guardian placed their gifts beside the manager Jack thought of what he could offer and carefully created a snowflake before using his winter magic on it so it would never melt then placed it next to North's carving of the very scene in front of them, Bunny's egg, and Tooth's single coin. Sandy's gift was one of his best dreams. The children in the choir and dressed as angels stopped singing as they watched the Guardians give the Christ child their gifts.
After the telling of the Christmas story was over the adults in charge of the props were gathering everything up when they found the carving, egg, coin and snowflake. They all looked at each other, asking if they were the one who left the gifts. "The carving was from Santa, the egg from the Easter Bunny, the coin from the Tooth Fairy, the snowflake from a white haired shepherd boy and the Sandman gave the baby a good dream." A child that no one recognized told them before he walked off into the snow that began to fall.
