Author's Note: I have a character I've been writing about for many years now that I call my "high tech warrior wizard" and hope to have something published someday. Anyhoo, he is a contemporary character, and (being a big Joss Whedon fan) I can see him knowing Angel and his gang down in L.A.. This conversation just popped into my head one day – the gang had just seen him and he was really REALLY worked up about something:
Gunn: Oh man, I've never seen him that pissed before.
Angel: Yeah, last time I saw him that pissed he took on a Q'Tor demon single handedly. And won.
Wesley: Ah, yes. The Watchers even have a written account of that in their archives.
Lorne: Oooo, I heard about that! He shoved his gun down the thing's throat and just kept firing until it exploded!
Wesley: Um, it wasn't its throat he shoved the gun down.
A brief silence settles over the gang.
Fred: Ewwww!
Angel: Huh, that makes sense. It would be closer to its heart that way.
