Matthew Williams is a nineteen year old college student. He lives in Canada with his father, visiting France often to see family. Though his father has taught him that love is not something you should be ashamed of regardless of what gender you are, Matthew is still hesitant to give into his feelings. Especially because his love interest is one of his father's younger friends.

Hello everyone!

So first, I want to say that I get my inspiration for Matthew from a good friend of mine and how she has characterized him. I asked her before I started writing this, too. Second I would like to say that I'm not going to make this all cheesy and such. There will be real problems and they will not be romanticized. While romance may be brought into it, I am not going to make depression and other disorders or issues beautiful. Why? Because they aren't. They are serious issues many people today must deal with. Lastly, anytime a character says something in their native language I will put a "*" behind it the first time it appears in the chapter and Italicize the word or phrase itself always. Translations will be at the end of the chapter in the order they appear. There most likely won't be much other than simple words or phrases though. Well, that all being said, please enjoy my story!
