My dreams are the most vivid imaginable. They haunt me everynight, in the "safety" of my dorm room. The one place you'd presume I'd be free from all this bollocks.
People tell you to forget the past, move on. With me... that's impossible. My past is the sole reason for my purpose. I don't ask myself if I agree with my purpose, it's not for me to question. I have a duty and that's all I'm allowed to know. For gods sake, why do my eyes feel like a tonne has landed on them just to smite me. Remind me mind, you always do anyway.
Whooosssshhhhhh... SMACK!
The ornate drinks cabinet flew across the shadowed room with a flick of a piece of wood, into the back of a small,
angel haired boy, cowering in a crouch facing towards the opposite corner. The contents inside clanked together hysterically.
"Owww not again Daddy, I'm really trying, I am."
The man in the dusty rocking chair glared with a bored expression,
"I've told you Draco, I will tell you everyday until the day I die unless you learn. We are not a family that tolerates weak behaviour. You will learn how to be a Malfoy, you will learn quickly as to not waste my time, which is precious let me assure you, and you will be a fantastic contribution to our cause."
"Daddy I still don't understand what this has to do with anything"
"Do it, now! The lantern is only a flick away from your face. Do you know what it feels like to burn, Draco? Your mother and I have blessed you with a face of beauty, youth, innocence. The latter will benefit you in the later stages of your inevitable life."
"O... o.k daddy" The heavenly-like child raised a small piece of wood in his small, perfectly formed right hand.
He stood now and slowly paced backwards, away from the corner, revealing to his father a small mouse; one eye missing and tail charred. A representative failure of his sons evil in the eyes of the fallen angel in the old chair.
The boy attempted to steer away from his sheepish ways to please his father. He took a deep breath, closed his frozen blue eyes and breathed strongly, "Avada Kedavra."
