Chapter one
She sat amongst the unbroken ice that lay upon the slumbering grass, winters eve carried the chill of deaths horrid breath. A sigh muffled by a black and white soft scarf. "Will that be all miss?" she glanced at the man standing there and nodded gently. She headed for the cemetery for a quick routine visit." Oh brother..." She looked at a small picture carefully lifting it up and brushing off the winter's blanket of snow and lovingly placing it back to be it was. She returned to the streets and headed for home. "EVE-ROSE! EVE-ROSE!!
A distant cry yelped from behind her, she froze in her steps as if death had a hard grip upon her shoulder refuse to let well enough alone, but no it was only her dearest and closest but most importantly, only friend, Eve-Irene."Rose! There you are! (Huff)" Her panting turned to fog once it hit the air of which they lived from."Are you coming to the party?" Rose shrugged then kept walking. Irene kept with patience and walked along side her slightly huffing a bit. "Well you should I'll be there and you can meet the man you're always staring at ya' know that weird one from Japan." Rose faces lite red with embarrassment. "Dose she not know, when is best to keep her trap shut... then once more she is only intending the best" Rose's mind brought on a train of though but the steady paste of thinking was dismantled by an abrupt cling from Irene she hide behind rose while staring a stranger who seemed to just brush by her.
Rin just kept walked as Irene held her grip "Do you know how that was?" excitement busted in her voice. "Some one of not importance to myself?" a cold shoulder reply came from her "I'm in deep thought, SHUT THE FUCK UP!" tone."That was William trembly The quarter-back from the high school football team!" Irene sighed in lust for his touch." What I wouldn't give to have him as my man" She sounded out the slurred together words as if reciting a heart felt poem. Rose just chuckle mockingly at the thought, she deserved better then him, he was a loner and despite his appearance the sound of his name escaping Irene's lips made Rose quiver in fear."Well I'll stop by tonight three hours before the party to see if you're coming. If you are we can go together!" Child like innocence raised in her voice rose nodded and hugged her friend good bye and headed home for dinner.
