Drabble. The imaginary exist because all that exists is real, so how could they be unreal?

Defined by many literary works and by all of humanity, imaginary means existing only in the imagination, meaning that it is unreal. Unreal? How would the imaginary be unreal? How could imaginary friends by unreal? Anyone could see them in plain sight, so how are they non-existent?

Are they fabrications of the human mind? Are they created to help a child endure loneliness or a broken heart? Could they be twinkles of an eye? Do children focus all their attention on their imaginary friends in order to get away from reality and create their own perfect little world?

They are imaginary, no one can deny that, but when you see them for yourself and many others, they are real because they exist.
