I Never Came To Terms

A/N: I own the poem I wrote it please don't take it with out my permission, (Its not like you want it anyway) and it is from Olivia's point of view but it could be from anyone's.

I never came to terms,

I always dreamed that it wasn't true,

That it wasn't you.

That gun was aimed at me, not at you. You took the fall for me. It should have been me lying dead on the ground.

Maybe you had a secret twin,

Someone no one knew about,

You were alive no doubt.

It couldn't be you. You were invincible. You'd never left me so alone before. It could have been your body but your soul couldn't have been there.

But the truth hit hard,

And I soon knew it was foolish to hope,

It made me look like a dope.

Why did you take that fall? You have children, a family. I have no one except you. You have many who love you, and I only had you.

I really wish it wasn't you,

But it's too late to change the past,

I just want to make my memories of you last.

This horrid pain won't go away because you took a fall for me. I never got the chance to say three small words, I love you, I love you Elliot with all my heart.
