Three Words
Sakuno wanted to know whether Ryoma really loves her because they have been dating for a few months but she haven't heard him say 'I love you' to her. She decided to ask him when they were walking back home from school.
Sakuno: " Do you really love me?"
Ryoma: "Of course I do."
Sakuno: "I wanna hear you say it."
Ryoma: "I don't have to."
Sakuno: "Why not?"
Ryoma: "Because..."
Sakuno: "I just want to hear you say it in words."
Ryoma: "I can't..."
Sakuno started to cry softly and said, "Then you don't love me..."
The two continued to walk in silence. They reached the Sakuno's home.
Sakuno: "Why?"
Ryoma: "Do you really want to know?"
Sakuno: (hesitantly) "Yes."
He hugged her gently, kissed the tip of her nose and whispered in her ear, "Because three words are not enough..."
