Notes: I'm not exactly overjoyed with this, but Daikenyako is kind of my OT3, so why not? I wrote it all in one sitting before bed one night and never made any real changes, but I think it works.

Daisuke loves Miyako and Miyako loves Daisuke.

There's no doubt. Even when their personalities clash ferociously, resulting in screaming matches and punching and hair-pulling, they have a look in their eyes; the same look, the same sparkle. It never goes away when they're around each other.

They do show their affection in odd ways. They make jokes at the other's expense, they jab elbows when they sit next to each other and never allow the other to get a single word in.

It's just their way.

Ken loves Miyako and Miyako loves Ken.

There's no doubt. Even though Miyako is outgoing and puts her foot in her mouth more times than meek, quiet Ken could ever possibly count, they can never stop smiling when they're around each other. They are living proof that opposites attract; they bring out the best and the worst in each other.

They do show their affection in odd ways. They are somewhat romantic, when Ken brings home roses and chocolate, but they never speak. They never say a word. Issues are pushed aside, far under the bed.

It's just their way.

Daisuke loves Ken and Ken loves Daisuke.

There's no doubt. Even though they make everything into a competition (who can throw the most French fries down Miyako's top?) and end up with hard feelings (Daisuke: 0, Ken: 12, as usual), they have a respect for one another that no other couple could possibly understand.

They do show their affection in odd ways. They can talk for hours about nothing and about everything. They know what makes the other laugh, and they also know what makes the other cry.

It's just their way.

Ken and Miyako and Daisuke were made for each other. There is never competition, never jealousy: just an equal amount of love dispersed through the three of them, no matter how unconventional it may seem to anyone else.

It's just their way.
