I Find You Again, and Again, and Again

A blue jay just isn't blue when you're far away. And though my eyes shine a fierce gray, I feel that it is all I see; gray in every being. And I just want your bright blue back.

I wrote this because I freaking love my Percy and Annabeth. And because I freaking love poems, even though I suck at them, yeah! So have fun reading this thingy. I love Percabeth. They are my dearies. And this poem made me cry oops.

In 5 years, I found what was dear.
Last year, we acknowledged what was clear.

One day, you went away.
The next day, I saw a blue jay
But the blue isn't the same when you're far away

Last week, I couldn't even speak
Last night, I couldn't see the light

It was the millionth and counting I searched in this month
It was the billionth and counting I searched on this land
It was the trillionth and counting I swore for revenge

Yesterday, I found you again.
Today, I'm still with you.
Tomorrow, I must be with you.
Next week, I need to be with you.

Today, in this moment, you told me we'll always be together
Today, in this second, you promised "As long as we're together"

Today, in this death fall, I knew I would always be safe with you
