The college bell rang as the pupils all sighed in relief, all slowly packing their things away, apart from one. Hideki, he stuffed everything into his bag not caring what went where, he ran out of the class waving to Shinbou,
Man, 'I could not wait to get out of the clasroom' he thought whilst strolling idley down the street. It was summer, so the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, swaying slowly, the wind ruffled through his black hair and provided a calming breeze. He scanned his surroundings taking every peice of scenery in, when he suddenly thought "It'd be perfect to go the beach, it's really starting to warm up now... maybe I should go ask Chii" and with this thought, his pace began to pick up, eventually becoming a jog he reached his residence, he continued jogging up the pathway to the front entrance.
"Hideki?"
He stumbled to the sound of his name suddenly been spoken.
"O-oh, it's you Chitose!"
"You seem to be in a rush, is everything okay?" she said in an over concered manner, with her welcoming smile beggining to form
"Yep!, just glad it's summer holiday, anyway, I have to go, see you!"
Hideki ran up the stairs, missing a few steps, as he got to his room door, he burst into the room with a wide smile plastered on his face
"Chii!" he shouted, as if saying hello
"Hideki...?" Chii turned around slowly, and from her usual uncromprehensive look, grew an open smile, Chii ran toward to Hideki and threw her arms around his torso, embracing him.
Hideki tightened his arms around her for a while, and let her go, he began to speak to her as if she were a child
"How would you like to go to the beach this summer, Chii?"
"Chii!" this was Chiis way of saying yes, she still had a few glitches with her linguistic program.
Hideki smiled, he was about to continue talking with Chii when he was cut off by the knocking by his door, he stood himself up and answered the door, it was Shinbou.
"Hey, what was up with you at college?, somethin' happen?" he asked casually
"Oh, heh, sorry about that, I just wanted to get home." Hideki said, adding an apologetic tone to his sentence
"It's okay" Shinbou said, a wide cheeky smile spread across his face,
"What are you planning on doing this summer?"
"Well- me and Chii were planning on going to the beach." He turned to face Chii, she turned to look at both of them and nodded, smiling.
"Say, Did you want to come?" Hideki asked
"Nah, it's okay, you two can go do what lovers do best." Shinbou said, trying to hold back a laugh
"GAH" Hidekis eyes started to narrow, he began to blush
"We're not like that." he said acidly
"Haha, I know I know, But if you want to we're fine just-"
"Do you WANT to come to the beach or not?" Hideki cut him off
"Okay,sure!, when do we leave?"
"Well, I was thinking tomorrow, if that's okay with you aswell."
"That's perfect!, anyway, I'll catch you later" Shinbou said as he made his way down the stairs.
Hideki closed the door and put his hand to his face and muttered "ugh that guy, always joking..." under his breath.
"Oh Chii!, I'm going out to work for a bit, okay? I'll see you later."
"C-Chii..."
Chii ran toward him and hugged him,
"Chii..." She smiled contently and waved him goodbye.
