Old Time's Sake

I was so pissed off at the end of the movie, because I thought it wasn't fair. I wanted a happy ending, dammit. So...I wrote one. No dialoge or anything, just a short summary of what happens. OneShot. Now with new introduction.

I decided to add a little more to the introduction of this story. As you all know Heath Ledger is gone. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, especially that beautiful little girl, Matilda. Heath was a wonderful actor, on his way to even more greatness, if that was even possible. He will be sorely missed.

This is just some drabble I wrote to get off my chest because I hated the ending of Brokeback Mountain. This is what I wanted to happen...

Jack got a divorce from his wife. When him and Ennis went on their usual trip to Brokeback Mountain, Jack told Ennis about it. Ennis looked happy. So they discussed it, and they decided to move to Mexico so they could finally be together for always.

Once a month they each go back to their hometown to see their kids and pay child support. They own a ranch together but no one knows that they do. Their ex-wives think that they are just down there owning a ranch by themselves. How wrong they were.

Next thing, Ennis's oldest little girl is getting married, and Jack's boy is graduating from high school. Ennis and Jack don't know where the time went, but that's because they are so happy together. They have their fights, sure, just like every couple. And they make up for it like every other couple does.

Once a year, around summer time, they always make a trip and spend a week at Brokeback Mountain, for old time's sake.

And they lived happily ever after, yada, yada, yada...I know it's cheesy, but I like happy endings.

P.S. If you didn't like the beginning of my intro, I don't care. Don't send me flames about it.
