Sweet, and a Little Bit Lemony...

A/N: I decided I'd try my hand at one of those stories where you have no idea what's going on until the very end. Hope you like it! I would also like to state that this was written so quickly, I didn't have the chance to get it out to betas. So any mistakes cannot be blamed on them. I repeat, any mistakes cannot be blamed on my betas. With that in mind, read on!

"Yeah, right there."
"Are you sure about that?"
"I've been doing this for years Jack. Trust me, I know."
"This is hard."
"It's not that hard Jack."
"Yes it is."
"It could be harder."
"I have no doubts about that, but it's still pretty hard."
She just sighed before rolling her eyes.
A few seconds of silence reigned over them.
"Jack?"
"Yes Sam?"
"Taste this."
"Okay."
Doing as she asked, he was shocked at the taste.
"I never realized it tasted like that."
"What does it taste like?"
"You mean you've never had this before?"
"Yeah. Now what does it taste like?"
"It's sweet, and a little bit lemony, with just a hint of almond."
"Almond? How does it taste like almond?"
"I don't know, but it does. You should try this."
"You're right it does taste pretty good."
"Told ya so."
"I can't believe I'd never tried this before."
"More?"
"Please."
Silence reigned over them before it was broken once again by Sam.
"Now that we're done, there's one thing left to do."
"Which would be...what?"
"This." she replied before picking up a spoon and smearing the icing all over his face.
"SAM!"
"Let the battle begin."
He picked up another spoon before slinging the contents at her, getting white icing all over her sweatshirt.
She dipped her fingers in the red before doing the same thing.
After all of the icing was gone, the two stared at each other, smiles plastered on their faces.
"Well, this has got to have been the best cookie decorating events I've ever been in."
"I thought you said it was your first Jack."
"Yeah, and there is no one else I would have liked to share it with."
"Yes, well, we need to get rid of this stuff before it hardens in our hair."
"I've got a way."
"Really? What?"
He didn't say anything, just taking his wife by the hand and pulling her close to him, before proceeding to lick the icing off of her cheek.
Smiling, it wasn't long before the icing was long forgotten by either party.

Slightly longer than I had intended to make it, but still, did you like?
