ZPOV
A girl stands at the front doors of a school. Her short dark brown hair is cropped to hang just under her ears. She had a rather slim, strong body for an 11 year old girl. Dark, almost black eyes stand out in great contrast to a pale cream complexion.
"Dear, are you lost?" A voice said from her left. She turned towards a kind looking middle pretty with long red hair and green eyes. Her name tag said Melody. The woman made a little gasping noise when she saw the girl, but quickly hid it.
"Yes ma'am. I'm new, I just moved from another city. I don't know where to go for my first class."
"Oh, well, follow me." The woman looked nervous as she walked into the large school building. They walked down a long hallway; the only sound was the clicking of the pretty's heels on the ground.
"Here we are!" She said, trying to sound enthusiastic as she knocked on the door.
"Yes, may I help you?" Another pretty woman opened the door. She looked down at the little girl standing next to the woman, then let the little girl in.
"Miss Evans, a word about your new student?" The pretty Melody said to the school teacher.
"Why of course." Both pretties stepped out of the room and closed the door.
"Hi, I'm Zoë." The little girl said to the class of ugly eleven year olds. From outside the door, the conversation could be hard, though slightly muffled. A little ugly girl frowned, sweeping frizzy brown hair out of her face.
"What are you? How come you're not ugly?" The little girl said, accusation thick in her voice.
"Because…" She shrugged, not sure what to say.
"You look scary." A boy with orange red hair and bad acne said.
"And you have zits." She responded with a dark glare before going and sitting down in an open desk. The class laughed, sounding a little nervous. The teacher, Miss Evans, walked back into the class then.
"Ok class, sorry about that. Does everyone know our new student?" She clasped her hands together, looking around. A girl shot her hand up.
"Why does she look like that?" said the little blonde ugly. The teacher gave the little girl a disapproving look. For the rest of the period, Zoë sat and did her work until lunch. When the bell rang, she stood and grabbed her lunch and began to walk to the lunch area.
"Hello." A voice said to her. "I'm Kalem." A boy sat down next to her. He was a little taller, with sandy blond hair and turquoise eyes.
"Hi, I'm Zoë." She smiled at him.
"Hi Zoë. Do you like grapes? I don't want mine." He said, holding a container of grapes up, smiling.
"Sure. You want my chips?" He smiled and nodded. They traded snacks and talked for the rest of lunch, promising to meet after school. Zoë was elated. From that moment on they were best friends, inseparable.
Ok, that's the first chapter! Sorry, I know it's short. Its just showing Zoë's first day and how she met Kalem (He's going to be a main character) Ok, please R&R, I want to know what you think, even if you hate it!
