The silver-haired man in his mid-twenties pace back and forth with three silver-haired men and two boys who has their father's hair, which is pacing, a male brunette that is a year younger than he, and an auburn hair female is cradling five months old baby. All of them sat down in the waiting room. "Relax Riku, Yoko is a strong woman, and I'm sure you'll have a healthy child." The soon-to-be father stops in his tracks and sat down next his best friend with his face in his hands. "Maybe stubborn." Kairi, the auburn female, added. "Perhaps too stubborn to believe it." He muttered darkly. "What?" His friends ask in unison. "The doctors said she might not make it. Yoko's health is too low. She has been taking drugs, hoping for a miscarriage." Both of them gasped.
"Daddy." He lifts his head to his ten-year-old son running up to him. "Uncle Sephiroth said he'll be arriving soon." "Who told you that?" "Yuki did." He replied. Riku stood up and walk over to his other son who is talking on the phone with his favorite uncle. He taps his eldest on the shoulder. His son nodded his head and gave the phone to him.
He calmly steps outside, hoping he wouldn't be heard from his sons talking to his most hated brother like that way.
"What do you want, trying to repeat the past again?"
"Smart as ever little brother." He remarked.
"Whatever you're going to ask the answer is no."
"It seems I'm not needed at all."
"What do you mean?"
"I can sense it." He said in boredom.
'Oh shoot, Yoko!' Riku hang up knowing his older brother doesn't care and rush back to the waiting room where a nurse awaits for his return.
"Mr. Kuronaga, I presume." He nods his head. "Please come this way." His wife's room is 517 where she slept there, exhausted.
"How did it go?" He asked.
"The doctors said she did excellent however I'm sure you know about her well."
"And the baby?"
"She is somehow healthy though…"
The nurse took a deep breath. "In the future she might not have her sight back."
Before he could react, both of them heard a moan. "R-Riku…" She extended her arm out to him. He held her hand in his. "What is the girl's name?" She motion for the nurse to come over and give her a laptop, she is known in the family as a fast typewriter.
