The Legend of the MoonChild

There was once a child, a moonchild, some believed her to be a goddess, others a demoness, she was said to be the embodiment of life, love, courage, loyalty, wisdom, grace and beauty. Among these gifts were death, destruction, pain, hatred, anguish, sorrow and deception, she had not always been this way, she never used to ' meddle in mortal affairs' but something caused her to interfere, it has been so long no mortal remembers, the reason for her hatred of mortals lies ironically in one of her gifts for it is also said that she was betrayed by her mortal lover, this caused her love to turn into bitterness and the light of love she once looked upon mortal world with to dim, for she now noticed the flaws of the imperfect race which she had found endearing with disgust, in her blind hatred she cursed them:

'A world now spurned of love, on the ninth day of the blood moon reminiscent of the home Prospero's Children, will fester like an open wound for the last time before crumbling into the dust from which they were made from.'

And because was against the book of Time, Eternity, History and Memory she in turn was cursed: 'Child born of the Luna, shall wonder the plane which she damned, knowing nothing of love nor hate destined to take her last breathe with it, her salvation.'

Gasping, the form on the bed rose brushing sweat-matted locks back from their head looks out the window only to see a full moon but that isn't what held the figure's attention, but the fact that the moon was blood red, "So it begins.".
