Author's Note: Hey, ppl. I like doing poetry, so blah! Anyways, I had to do a diamond poem on The Giver in English Class. I hate that class. Oh well, Read and Review!

                                                          Diamond Poem: The Giver

                                                        Colors,

                              Like red,

                          Brighten the world.

                        Orange in lazy summers,

                     Reds in gently falling leaves,

A dreary blue in gloomy winter,

The greens of the joyous springtime cheer,

Without it, the Community is dull, like gray,

The memories held within, never to be seen again,

The colors, the spirit of a world long forgotten, alas!

Without purpose, no life, in the world of same,

Changeless, true feelings left in the unknown,

Dreams of colors, past gone by,

                       World of dull gray inside,

                        In grayness, no choice,

                         With life left behind,

                           Never really alive,

                             Trapped inside

                                Grayness.
