"Welcome, ladies and gentlemen," A professor stands on the make-shift stage and announces. This professor, whose name is Amos, is a Science professor. He specialises in "shrinking" organisms and objects into smaller sizes. Instead of the usual crisp white lab coat all Science professors are thought to have, this professor's lab coat looked as if it used to have been white. Now, however, the professor's lab coat had been doodled on with magic pens, luminous pens, highlighters and the like.

After a short speech, the people who came dispersed to see the many exhibits the exhibition held.

Yes, this is the long awaited exhibition. The professor finally had the chance to showcase years of research in one exhibition… Which no one thought was quite fair for a dedicated professor like Professor Amos.

This exhibition shows the professor's "In a Teacup" series. The first thing to be released from the series was the "Zoo in a Teacup" which is also known as ZIAT. Yes, ZIAT.

How was all this started? Well, it started when one of his English teachers gave him a picture to write a composition. This picture was about an elephant spraying a man with water. Being VERY interested in Sci-fi from a young age, Professor Amos immediately wanted to write about a zoo in a teacup. Unfortunately, creative writing was not encouraged in the school and you would even lose marks for being too creative. Thus, the professor had no choice but to write a seriously cliché story which greatly pleased the teacher.

The idea of a zoo in a teacup had since got stuck Professor Amos's head. Once he graduated from university with a doctorate in a certain Science topic, he immediately went to make his zoo in a teacup. Five years and a few winter jackets later (DO NOT ASK), the professor succeeded, making the first portable mini zoo with living animals in it.

The professor, delighted at the thought of having his own little zoo, decided to make copies of it and sell the copies to the public thinking that the public would enjoy the little zoo too. Of course, he kept the original for himself. The professor always keeps the original for himself. The zoo became such a huge hit that the professor started making other mini-sized places with living organisms in them like the "Aquarium in a Teacup", "Farm in a Teacup", "City in a Teacup", "Banana on the Banana Plant", "Tree in a Box" ,… I think you get the point.

So, my dear companion(s), let's step forth into the exhibition and relish the beauty of the tiny versions of oh-so familiar places!

Here we go!
