Dear Diary,
Today was the first day at my new school, Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. This has all been a very big deal for me, going into a new school where I know no one but Severus who lives around my house, and going into a big world of magic. Anyways, even though I am still quite nervous I am also very excited. Hogwarts is a beautiful school. A teacher even asked me a question about Transfigurations and it was very easy for me to answer correctly! After all, I have been studying the manual and many text books for quite a while. Anyways, I think I will get along at Hogwarts just fine.
As much as I have enjoyed my first day at Hogwarts so far there is one thing that is quite…..annoying. That thing is a boy named James Potter. *shudder* Why he is such a show off! He runs around with his little entourage which concedes of three other boys who actually aren't half bad. One is Remus Lupin, who looks a little shy but kind. The other is this little scrawny boy named Peter. It's not that I dislike him or anything but I certainly don't like him. He's very large and unsanitary and….I don't know….. just downright weird. The last boy is none other than the infamous Sirius Black. Why that boy certainly is a cocky one. He is the most like James and I guess you could consider him a show off as well, but something about that Sirius just wants to make you smile. The way he flicks his abnormally shiny for a boy's hair, and the way his blue eyes twinkle when he makes you laugh. Don't worry I'm not falling for him or anything but I daresay he is cute. Well…not just cute…hot! But I caught that girl Arabella gazing him down with fluttering eyelashes on the train ride so I'll stay low.
Believe it or not….that James Potter is actually sort of hot too. He has really, really brown eyes that are so dark they remind me of chocolate. And jet black hair that is so messy I'm not sure if he styles it that way or if it just is like it's so. I guess I will find out. Anyways, by the looks of it, Sirius and James are best friends. They both share similar qualities such as being handsome *ahem*, cocky, funny, etc. But no, no, no! James Potter is definitely not my type. Besides I saw him and Sirius picking on Severus earlier so I am already angry at him for that. I am angry at him….but there's this thing that sort of….attracts me to him? Wait a second, NO! What am I talking about?! I do not like James Potter! And never will I will!
*ahem* Sorry for that. I can get a bit dramatic sometimes. Oh, Professor Mcgonagall is coming round for curfew. I better blow out the candle and put this diary away for the night so I won't get caught.
