This fanfic was inspired by an old friend. If you're reading this, just know that I don't hate you.

It just another day for me. I was riding my bike downtown when I saw Robbie in one of the alley ways with his usual spray paint can on the ground and looking at his cell phone, crying. I decided to stop by

"Dude, Robbie, what's wrong?"

"Tambry broke up with me."

"I'm sorry. Did you say something to her?"

Robbie eyed me. "What are you implying?"

"Well, it's just that you tend not to listen to the other side, which gives off the impression that you don't care about the other person."

I probably had said the wrong thing. I didn't say anything for a while then looked at the wall that had the words that said "Die, Mabel, Die!".

"Dude! First Dipper, now Mabel? What's your beef against the Pines family?"

"Lee, you don't understand. She poisoned my chili fries."

I was confused.

"I... I don't quite follow."

Robbie sighed.

"When Mabel set up my first date with Tambry, I ordered some chili fries. When I got them, I noticed this pink, sparkly substance on the fries. At first I thought the restaurant was trying some new recipe and I tried it. Turns out it was a love potion that Mabel stole from the Love God and poured it on my chili fries to make me fall in love with Tambry and vice versa."

"Dude, I'm sorry, but don't be so hard on Mabel; she's just a kid."

"A kid that made me believe in a lie, Lee!" said Robbie with frustration, "I thought Tambry loved me for real, but it turned out to be just a facade!"

"Robbie, I'm not saying what Mabel did was right, but try looking at it from her point of view. You were depressed about Wendy breaking up with you and she wanted you to be happy."

"Well I'm anything BUT happy now!", Robbie held himself and rubbed away his tears with his sleeve. "Why should I care about what other people feel when nobody cares about how I feel? Everyone hates me and sees me as a joke. Even Toby Determined is more liked than I am and he's Toby Determined. What's even the point?"

I looked at Robbie. I could see the frustration just boiling in his face as hot tears came trickling down. I put my hand around him.

"There's one person that cares about you."

I softly placed a kiss on Robbie's cheek and he blushed a strawberry red. He looked at me with surprise. He said nothing for about 2 minutes or so. I saw him looking over at the "Die, Mabel, Die!" graffiti.

"I guess I AM a bit of a jerk writing that."

"Come on, I'll help you wash that off."

We went to grab some soap and sponges and got to work.
