How Fang came to be "Fang".
This is my first One-Shot. Please don't judge harshly! I just felt like writing something, like how the scene came to be when Fang came to get the nickname, "Fang". This is before Nudge, Gazzy and Angel. Max, Fang and Iggy are the only ones in the labs. Ages-Max, Fang and Iggy, 8.
I don't own Maximum Ride.
Third Persons P.O.V
The Whitecoats got up at sunrise to get Max, Fang and Iggy ready for another day of tests and injections. In the process of running these tests on them, they learned some new things about how much they could handle, take, and do as well.
As they walked into the dark room with tons of cages but only very few being used at the moment, they punched in a code and opened up the tiny gate that kept the dark haired boy in at night.
"Subject 5004"(I'm just going to call him that, since they really have no name for him.) The short Whitecoat male said shaking him. "Wake up for a brand new day!" He snickered.
[Fang] Not being an idiot and also very tired fro them injections of needles yesterday, mumbled a "No" and turned his back to them trying to fall back into his dreamless sleep.
The Whitecoat pinched the bridge of his nose and went to grab the boy, not wanting to deal with this refusal.
The dark haired boy was startled by his gesture and soon started to writhe and scream in the Whitecoat's arms.
As soon as he had started screaming, he woke up the other two bird children, who were quite startled by the boy who they were looking at outside of their cages.
"What are they doing to him?" Iggy whispered to Max.
"I dunno." Max said just as silently
As the dark haired boy kept moving, frustrated and scared, he noticed the Whitecoat's hands near his biting range and took the chance he had and bit him.
"OW! That stupid for nothing trash!" The Whitecoat said, dropping the dark haired boy who quickly crawled back in his cage.
He slammed the boys cage closed and walked over to the 4 other Whitecoats, mumbling something incoherent to the bird kids ears and they walked away.
After the couple minutes of silence in the room, Max and Iggy started to giggle.
The dark haired boy looked at them weirdly and asked, "Why are you guys laughing...?"
"Yo, you're like the...the FANGALATOR! The way you bit that guys hand!" Iggy said laughing.
"The...Fangalator?" He said confused.
"Ok so maybe just "The Fang", you got some bite their. That guy looked on his way to crying." Iggy continued.
"Fang...sounds...cool." Fang said and looked at Max, raising an eyebrow.
"It fits you well...Fang." Max said smirking.
Fang half-smiled. "Ok then. I guess I'm the awesome and incredible Fang who is cooler than Iggy."
"Hey! Never ever, you keep dreaming." Iggy said.
They all laughed and then froze when they heard the door being opened again...
