A/N: just a little bunny that popped into my head this morning during physics class. :3
just as a heads up, this is just an idea, so i won't be updating this regularly unless it goes well.
Summary: "if angels could speak, what would they tell us? would they scream at us for our mistakes, would they weep over so much bloodshed, or would they simply turn their heads away and pray that primus will be merciful towards us? but more importantly, if an angel came to us, would we even listen?" - sunstorm
from the moment his optics came online, the young mech knew there was something special about him. unlike the others, he seemed to have a purpose, or at least felt as if he had a purpose; and unlike them, he never had the choice to choose which faction he belonged too. his creator (shockwave) had designed him to fight, not to think or feel. so when sunstorm begins to have memories that are not his, he turns to shockwave to fix them, but shockwave isn't able to delete the memories because they simply do not exist in sunstorm's memory chip. confused, sunstorm turned to primus; where he came to believe he was the living embodiment of primus's will. but not even that was enough to answer his question. . . but his answer eventually came in an usual form -- a low rank rainmaker by the name of acid storm.
through their unlikely relationship, they discover that the memories sunstorm is having belong to the late air commander starscream. acid storm then argues that there is little sunstorm can do, but the young seeker does not believe that for one moment. through his curiosity and determination, he learns the true reason behind his creation, and the unusual death of starscream. and what he finds, he soon wishes he never would have learned. . . .

A soft humming first filled his audio sensors before
his programming analyzed it as nothing more than
usual and basic function from his solar-powered fusion
reactor. His circuits twitched and snaked as raw energy
traveled through his body. For a mere second, the
seeker wondered if he would overload from such
intense feelings and surges of power, but a calm, cool
hand on his shoulder erased all his feelings of
anxiety. in response to the feeling of another
touching him, he opened his eyes.
.
"Hello, Sunstorm," the one-eyed 'con welcomed. "It's
good to see you online at last."
