Kurama fangirls please don't hate me for this.

I had a period when I was way interested in KxK fanfiction and this is one of the products of that time. I didn't really ever plan to post it but I was bored and wanted to do something so why not post another story, my others weren't that popular but they didn't directly involve characters either.

Thanks go out to my dear Keria-chan for aiding me in writing this. This was co-written so that would also explain why the writting style seems to constantly shift.

It's twilight as Kurama walked down the streets of the small city, his hands full with grocery bags for tonight's dinner. As he thought about though to fit it he didn't watch where he was going and turned a little too soon placing himself in a dark ally. He was confused as he hit a dead end and went to turned back but as he did he saw some standing there. "Hello?"

With no lighting in the alleyway there was no way to distinguish any figures of the tall figure who now stood in its entrance in the growing darkness. Slowly, said being began to walk towards the redhead without a sound, not even his footsteps could be heard even in the still night air.

"Who are you...?"He asked and when he had gained no response he placed the bags on the ground and reached up in to his jacket and pulled out a small rose turning it in to the Rose Whip. "Stop or I will strike you..."he sounded but the person just kept getting closer. He saw no other option then to strike and did so.

A small beginning of a smile and a slight flicker in his eyes were all the response given to the appearance of the whip, neither which should have been visible in the dim light. When the whip came his way, he stopped it from causing any harm to his body by catching it in his hand. A light trickle of blood occurred from doing so but it was no more than a few drops that fell to the ground softly and he didn't seem to notice as he continued shortening the distance between the two of them.

He growled softly his eyes taking on a light golden color but it faded seeing the other take hold of the whip. "Tell me..!" he said with a little more force now as the other came closer now as he took a few steps back, placing him against the wall.

A few more steps and he was right in front of the other. Only now he choose to make any comment. "You tell me Kurama, have you truly forgotten me?" He was now close enough that even without light the other should be able to see him clearly enough to make out who he was. "I would have thought our relationship would have stayed with you longer than that." One hand played with his red hair, the other still holding the whip so it couldn't be of any use.

Kurama stilled seeing who was standing before him, his eyes only wide for a moment before the lightly narrowed his cheeks taking on a slow soft pink color at the tone of the others voice. "How...did you find me?..."He asked trying to back be even more but it was no use.

His hand moved to the other's cheek. "How could you feel I wouldn't find you? You are mine and shall always be so." He moved even closer and pressed his lips to the other's, drawing out a long kiss.

His heart skipped a beat his face turning a hot pink at the kiss but closed his eyes letting his hands fall to his sides dropping his whip so it turned back in to a simple rose.

While the other had his eyes closed, he disappeared from the scene, leaving behind the other to what confusion he would have when he finally did open his eyes.

But when Kurama went to open his eyes he was met with the soft light shinning throw his window instead of the cold lights of the ally way. He sat up in his bed and absently touched his lips thinking about the dream...was it really?

I know, you must hate me for leaving off here but the dream scene made the most sense to post alone.

Read and review please!
