Rin's POV:

"Rin! Rin!" I hear a familiar voice call. I turn around, to find a girl with pink swirly pigtails… almost like drills!

"What's up?" I ask. She smiles.

"There's so many cute boys that want to ask you out right now! Gah, Rin-chan, you're so lucky!" she exclaims. I just smile back, but on the inside, I just wish I could be like everyone else. Casual, ordinary… not always the center of attention. Of course, I don't have the heart to tell anyone to stop it. I mean, if they want to do it, then it's not right for me to tell them otherwise.

"Y-yeah, lucky me, huh?" I answer, weakly.

"Rin-chan," I hear a voice say. I look up. Oh, surprise surprise. If it wasn't Piko.

"What?" I ask. I wasn't in the mood for his crap.

"You know, I just had to say it again. You're sexy, and I want you to be mine." he says, bluntly, grabbing my chin as if to kiss me. I shove him away.

"As if, Utatane." I growl, giving him a sharp glare. I begin to head straight for class. Right as I was about to enter my classroom, I hear yet another voice.

"R-Rin…" the boy asks. I sigh, but remain with a smile on my face.

"Yes?" I ask, a bit frustrated. Not at this boy, but Piko is a real mood destroyer, you know that?

"W-will you go out with me?" he asks. I take a closer look at his face. Oh, it was just Gumo.

"I-I'm sorry…" I say. I hate rejecting people. I bet it takes a lot of courage to confess, and I just destroy all the courage I bet it took a long time to muster up. "But I just don't feel it's time for me yet. You understand, right?" I ask, innocently. He quickly nods his head, a blush on his face, before dashing off down the halls. I sigh. I turn on my heels and walk into class. The teacher, Mrs. Megurine, looks at me with a mean glare.

"Ten minutes late, Kagamine. Detention." she says strictly, before prompting me to go to my seat. As I walk to my desk, I hear protests.

"Come on! Rin-chan probably had a good reason!" one says. Another stands up. "Yeah, don't give her detention!" the other says. Pretty soon, the entire class was up out of their seats, screaming about how unfair it is, and that sort of thing.

"Okay… OKAY, ENOUGH!" Mrs. Megurine screams. Everyone sits down. Then, she sighs. "Fine, no detention." she says. Everyone cheers. I just smile. "But, consider this your one and only warning, Kagamine." she concludes, before rambling on about school stuff. All my classmates are so nice.

Okay, hope you all liked it, peace out.
