You breathed through your nose and out your mouth as you followed orders.

"Fifteen! Now run four laps around the perimeter!" barked your German Boot Camp supervisor.

You cursed your parents under your breath, they had sent you to this God forsaken camp where the MRE's were crap and it was the raining season. You had been here for three months. Your parents had sent you here because Ludwig's parents owned the place, and they were close friends with your parents even though you didn't care much for Ludwig at times.

You got sent here all because you got into a fight in school because this bitch spread a rumor that you had slept with every guy in school just to get your boyfriend. Damn her.

You didn't realize it, and couldn't stop yourself when you did, but you ran into a boulder and did a flip, knocking yourself unconscious.

"_!" Ludwig yelled. He ran over to see where you were, and found your leg broken and head bleeding.

"Shiza!" He called for an ambulance and called over his Japanese friend to help him take care of you.

You awoke, "Ugh…My head." You grumbled.

"Good, you're avake." Ludwig said.

"No, really?" You said sarcastically, bitterness clawing at your voice.

"Is that sarcasm I hear in your voice Private _{Last name}_?"

"Nah, I'm having the time of my life!" You say with mock joy, turning your face so he doesn't see the tear trickle down your face.

"_...I'm glad you try hard, but you don't need to push yourself so far that you exert you body limits."

"It doesn't matter; I'll never get out of this hell hole."

"Is that how you feel about this place?"

You nodded.

He shrugged, "Vell…I'm glad you came here."

You raised your eyebrow, "Why?"

"Because for the longest time I've vanted to do this…" He replied and kissed you,

"L-Ludwig…"

"Ich liebe dich _."

You smile and admitted, "The real reason why I do it, pushing myself…I do it because I want you to notice and be proud of me…I love you too."

"Vould you like to go out for some coffee some time?" He asked.

You nodded, "That would be nice."
