After the world`s end
There is no such thing as Paradise. There is nothing at the world`s end. No matter how long you run, there will always be a road ahead.
Kiba was thinking that again. He was lying on a carpet of golden leaves outside the city. It was autumn, but the winter was soon to come.
The world had ended. He knew that. But the world had been reborn. It was a new world at the end of the old, exhausted one. It wasn`t the paradise, but it was still a good place. With no Nobles, poverty and/or famine . At least not that extreme. Kiba remembered the moment when all was lost - the scent of lunar flowers all over the place, the soothing rain, the pain of losing Cheza. Afterwards it was like he had been awaken from a pleasant dream. The rain was still tapping on his forehead, but nothing was the same anymore. Nobody seemed to notice what had happened. People lived their normal lives. All who had recently died were resurrected. But their memory was altered so to think they had always lived those lives. Everyone, including his friends Tsume, Hige and Toboe. They didn`t recognize him anymore.
He was lying on the same spot where he had awoken that day. The rain was falling again. He was the only one to remember the world`s end, because he had triggered it. That was his curse. But did the Paradise existed in this world too? Would he ever feel the sweet scent of the Lunar flower again?
Kiba stood up. There were always road ahead. He would find Cheza no matter what. His heart knew she existed somewhere and where she was, there was also the Paradise. Those were her last words.
Tsume was riding his motorbike when he saw the strange guy. The stranger was wearing a jacket, white T-shirt and worn-out jeans. He was walking under the heavy rain as it didn`t existed. Tsume looked at him one more time and went ahead.
Hige was eating a hot dog with his hood on. He damned the heavy rain, because the chicks had to wear more clothes on. He felt someone`s presence behind him. Hige turned his head to notice a strange boy turning around the corner.
Toboe found a lost kittenand was very happy. She was white and cute. She had no name. Then someone splashed water over him. Toboe immediately turned around only to see a worn-out jeans of a tall boy, who was walking fast. The boy didn`t excuse himself so Toboe thought he was very rude.
Suddenly, Kiba felt a faint scent. A Lunar flower grew nearby. The Lunar flowers still existed somewhere in this world. So there was hope for Cheza. He began to run.
