I was standing up on a hill that led down to a valley with green grass that danced with the wind. Across the valley, also on a hill was a castle that stood high and mighty facing the ocean that let out a cool breeze. I turned my head to look around and my heart skipped a beat. A lion stood next to me, smiling! "James you will come here soon, your destiny lies here." It paused waiting for a response, looking down in the valley.
I jumped! The lion talked, and it knows my name! but I was not scared, for a odd reason. The energy that sprung from him was loving and peaceful, no hatred or fear. "Um where is here" I asked politely so wouldn't be eaten. "You will find out soon, you will answer the call, and it will bring you here." It smiled walking away from the valley. "Goodbye" we're last words before it disappeared. My eyes widened to what I had just seen. Then the beautiful landscape that was once there vanished into the darkness.
I wake up to a loud whistle that came from the train I was riding to the country side of London with my mother Della Peters, and my white cat Fang. We were the only ones in the train booth. It wasn't in very good shape. The carpet was muddy, the seats were ripped and, had stains on them. My mother sat on across from me as I sat with Fang. Up above my mother was a shelve that held our luggage, we only had for suitcases. It was a long ride, my mother read a book and, I played with Fang. I didn't know why we were leaving London, all I knew that we were on a train for 5 hours.
"Mother, why are we leaving London?" I asked while petting Fang. She stared at me for minute and put down her book. "Listen since your father disappeared I wasn't able to pay the bills for the house. Your uncle Eric is letting us stay at his home until we get back on our feet." As soon as she said uncle Eric my eyes narrowed. I never liked him. He was weird and gave me used sweaters for Christmas. "I don't like him." I mumbled as soon as I said that the Train stopped. "We have just stopped at cherry wood 105 station" The announcer said through the microphone that let out a loud screech that bothered Fang. Finally were here.
