It was after the incident that killed a noted scientist from Tiburon known as Doctor Sevrin and a popular musician named Adam on a planet that they thought was known as Eden that the starship USS Enterprise had zoomed her way to the next assignment for Captain James T Kirk and his crew, only to have Jim look at his communications officer Lieutenant Nyota Uhura and saw that she was having a sudden headache.
"Are you feeling well, Lieutenant?", asked a concerned Jim before Uhura had turned around with her hand on her forehead and said, "I do not think so, Sir. Maybe I have what Doctor Sevrin had before he died. I really do not know what…!", only to be interrupted by the science officer of the Enterprise Mister Spock, who cleared his throat and said, "If I may be so bold to say so, Captain. I do believe that Lieutenant Uhura is long overdue for a checkup, anyway."
"A very good idea, Mister Spock. Lieutenant Uhura, you are hereby ordered to report to Doctor McCoy in Sickbay on the double.", said Jim before Uhura got up from her seat, took a deep breath and said, "Aye, Sir.", before she left the bridge via the turbolift.
But while she was inside the turbolift, the headaches became so bad that Uhura had no choice but to drop down to the floor and become unconscious, only to have her wake up on a polar bear skin rug and in something that was not a Starfleet uniform before a door opened and a handsome black stud walked into the room with only a white robe on, looked and smiled at Uhura and said, "Hey Baby. I was wondering when you would finally wake up. That was some wild party we had last night, huh?"
That was when Uhura looked at the stud straight in the eyes and asked, "What planet is this?", only to have the concerned stud place a gentle hand on her chin and ask, "What's wrong, Phylicia? Are you feeling sick? Because if you are, now is not the right time to be sick because we have that Jet magazine photoshoot to do in a couple of minutes. Oh, you could use the shower now."
And as soon as the black stud had left the room, a puzzled Uhura got off the rug and opened a photo album to see that she looked exactly like a beautiful African American supermodel named Phylicia Bledsoe just before she looked at herself in the mirror, shook her head and yelled, "NO! NO! NO! IT IS NOT ME! SHE IS NOT WHO I AM!", while she was throwing some stuff at the mirror.
After that, poor Nyota Uhura had no choice but to drop back down to the floor and start crying like she was a little girl before a gentle touch of a hand made Uhura open her eyes and see that she actually was in sickbay with Doctor McCoy treating her.
