Home again.Well, not quite. I am back on Earth, finally, but not San Francisco, not Iowa. I, Captain Kirk, am on a new adventure. London. I am to remain here for 6 months, until the Enterprise can be fully repaired after our encounter with the Klingons. How we even made it home after their attack is a mystery to me...

The city comes quickly into view from my small window and all the buildings seem strangely familiar despite never having been here before. Seen enough pictures over the years, I guess. Once we reach the ground, I quickly collect my things and exit the shuttle. I am welcomed by cold wind and rain, and I instantly regret not wearing warmer clothes. Spock tried to warn me. I should have listened; I shouldn't have dressed for California weather.

"Jim Kirk." Hearing my name, I turn to find the man I'd come to meet.

"John Harrison," I say, taking his hand in my own and shaking it quickly. I meet his ice-blue eyes, then look over the rest of him, noticing the way his black hair, slightly too long, hangs infront of face against his pale skin. Everything about the man projects superiority, the way he holds himself making him seem powerful. I can't help but stare for a moment.

"Shall we go? It's rather cold out." I nod my head and allow him to lead me through the city, to our home.
