A Zemyx story

Zexion was staring out the tall dark glass window. It was raining. He placed his hand on the cool glass and gently let it slide down. He was in pain. He didn't know why, but he knew that he was. The cold, the dark, the stars, the moon. It was all bringing back painful memories. He allowed a tear to roll down his cheek. A very worried Demyx was watching closely in the distance.

Demyx walked over to Zexion's side and placed his hand on his shoulder. Zexion turned, startled. He then let a small smile dance across his face.

"Hey." Demyx said.

"Hey." Zexion whispered, pain in his eyes.

"Memories?" Demyx asked, stroking Zexion's purple blue hair.

"Yeah…" Zexion blushed slightly because of Demyx touch.

"Hey, just do what I do. Let them go."

"It's not that simple... I can't let a part of me slip away that easily...can I?"

Demyx looked intently into the eyes of the only person that ever understood why he was the way that he was. He looked, and he saw someone that needed to be saved.

Demyx smiled.

"For every memory lost, there's a new one gained...A better one." Demyx whispered, leaning into Zexion's precious space. "Maybe, you can try, making me your new memory instead?"
Zexion's cheeks warmed, and he leaned into a hand that was now caressing his face.

"Let me have your heart? You can have mine in return. I promise I won't break it." Demyx whispered.
Demyx pressed his lips against Zexion's, and felt Zexion hug him in return. Zexion leaned back and stood there smiling at Demyx, arms still wrapped around him.
"Only if you promise you won't break it..."
