Deep Below
After spending a few hours underground in the in Minecraft I decided to write this story that I had while playing.
Also I am going to take a few liberties so a few things make a little sense (To me at least)
Journal Entry 1 I never thought leaving home would be so hard. A few years ago I thought I would be happy at this moment, getting away from the family business of raising sheep and selling the wool. But I can always come back and visit I guess. I decided to become a miner like my great uncle Urik once was, I was fascinated when I was young and he told me stories of caves deep underground that are waiting to be explored. He also said that there once was a mighty civilization down there who called themselves Minecrafter's. Apparently they disappeared after something bad happened. I am not sure to believe him though since it's a very old tale and nobody else believes it. Years ago he passed he told me what was needed to survive down there if one became lost, like extra everything. Wood, food, coal, a small smelter, and work bench so I could build some basic tools if the ones I had wore out or broke. He also said keeping a journal and writing down things would help out if I don't see anyone for a while. Well instead of stalling I better get going, uncle Urik left me a map of a location of a cave entrance that he did not explore. When he gave me the map years ago he said it was pretty well hidden, and he doubted that anybody had found it. Signed
Now a miner is someone who goes deep underground looking for valuable ore and minerals to sell. Word has it that you don't just need a strong body to work in the mines either; you also need a strong mind. Something about the twisting tunnels and darkness.

I plan on doing short journal entries because its what I think will work best for what I am trying to write.
I am also gonna try to update every 2 days or so.
I would also like to thank my Beta-Reader Tamuril Telrunye for going over this and improving it.
