Aphrodi clenched his teeth as the needle pierced the pale skin of his forearm. The effect was immediate. He threw his head back, gasping for air. It was not his first experience with the Aqua of the Gods, but it was the first time the divine liquid had been injected straight into his bloodstream.
Kageyama cupped his lovely player's cheek. His hand then brushed down Aphrodi's neck. His fingers stopped and pressed, checking the boy's pulse. His lips curled into a satisfied smirk.
"How do you feel, Afuro?"
"I'm in heaven, Sousui," Aphrodi replied before pressing his mouth against Kageyama's.
