A/N: Set during season 6 'Forsaken'. Really dont like this title but meh.
'So do you have anyone special back on Earth?'
Well it's not as if she could just come right out and say she was fucking her CO. That sort of thing was frowned upon slightly. It had only been a month and to be honest she didn't think either of them knew what they were doing.
There had always been a 'thing' between them but since the whole zatarc fiasco they'd buried them deeper than ever. Then she'd lost him, for the longest month of her life and when he'd come back she didn't think she could just carry on as before.
He obviously thought the same way because as soon as he was cleared from the infirmary he'd turned up on her doorstep. She remembered he asked if he could come in and talk then it all gets very hazy. Their lips met and soon they were naked in a tangle of limbs right there up against her front door but they were both past caring about is knees or the handle pushing into her back because they were actually doing this and it was amazing.
Her next clear memory was of them both in bed the next morning. The comfort of waking up in his arms, but underneath a deep sense of fear, fear that she would loose him again.
And now a month later they still hadn't spoken about what the hell was going on between them. They'd been on a few dates – very discretely of course – they had lots of incredible sex, they'd poured their hearts out to each other after too much alcohol on one memorable night. But they still hadn't dared to say a word to each other about what they were doing.
That was ok though. Because for now they were together and it was better than either of them had fantasised.
'Nothing I'd care to discuss…'
