Accidentally
Angie's POV
I was in Algebra class, trying my best to wake my brain up for any sudden equation. The teacher's voice swirled about in my head until someone tugged on my sleeve.
"Still trying your best?"
"Oh come on, Logan! I'm doing what I can!" I hissed.
Yes, it's true. Logan Mitchell- the smartest guy in class – was sitting right behind me.
"Your equations are all mixed up. I can't understand anything here."
I snatched my notebook from his hands. "You do not get stuff from me."
"Anna gave it to me."
I shot a fierce glance at her.
"Calm down, Angie. It's just a little prank." Anna said. "Man, am I bored…"
"I thought you're absent today." I said.
"Nah. Carlos and I just got late from an early morning pranking."
"Why I outta-"
Before I finished my sentence, the intercom turned on. "Anna Knight and Carlos Garcia, please report to the principal's office, now." Then it turned off.
Anna stood up in hesitation. "Aw man. It's getting boring here every second. Well, see you later Angie."
They walked out of the room.
The room fell silent.
Anna's POV
"What do you want?" I snapped.
"Your pranking skills are quite remarkable, I must say."
"Get to the point. " Carlos said.
"Very well. Jamie Evans. I want you to prank her."
I was the first to react. "Do you want us to get murdered or something? That's Angie's sister. Don't play stupid with us."
"How about a reward?"
My eyes narrowed. "Sure. In cash."
"How much?"
"Five hundred."
"I think you should rethi-"
"It's either you give us five hundred dollars and we do the prank or we'll steal your secret diary that's in your mom's room."
"Fine. You'll do it. Here's your five hundred."
He handed us both five hundred dollars.
"See you tomorrow, Frank!" Carlos said and we trailed out the room.
Once we got a few miles away from the school, Carlos started to talk about an idea.
"How about if we prank her with food?"
"Sure. How about a… bleeding pickle? I heard that she gets grossed out easily." I replied.
"Sure. But the question is, does she even like pickles?"
"Yeah. Angie told me that she likes pickles. We have to buy that and a large packet of red fake blood."
"Why do you say red blood? There's no blue blood or purple?"
I trailed a little farther than him and looked back. "Animals have a lot of colors of blood. For instance, amphibians have blue blood. Got any more questions to ask?"
"Oh… not anymore."
The following day, we went to school early to set up the prank.
When students started to stream in her class room, I hid under the teacher's table and Carlos hid inside the closet.
Once we heard her come in, I went out of hiding and approached her. "Hi, Jamie. My name is Anna Knight. Welcome to the school."- I handed her the jar of bleeding pickles. – "Here's your welcome gift. I hope you enjoy it!"
She took a bite. The pickle trickled out the red food coloring as she screamed in fright.
Angie arrived and rushed to her sister. "What did you do to her?"
I shrugged it off. "Ask the principal. I did this for a good reason though."
"Oh really? And what's that?" she hissed.
"It's because she was disgraceful to Fra- I mean Mr. Principal."
I whistled and Carlos went out of hiding.
"Well, we love to stay and chat but we still need to…" Carlos started.
"We need to clean the class room!"
"Yeah. Come on, Anna! We shouldn't keep those… classrooms dirty." He continued sarcastically.
We trailed out the room as Angie screamed at us. "I'll get you Anna!"
I chuckled. "As if."
Well, let's just say that we did that accidentally. When you see Angie, tell her it was accidentally.
