Fate/Murderous Intent

Prologue:

A large battlefield drowned in the sounds of clashing metal and sprinting warriors.

However, this wasn't just any War. A War kept secret from the public. A War no one besides few were allowed to know of its existence.

A War where heroes across time and space gathered to fight on opposing Factions.

No ordinary human could take them on. Even the weakest was able to kill, to murder any human on the face of the Earth. Luckily, they were fighting each other.

´Seven warriors fought for the unification of World destined to be killed by its people.

Another seven fought for the freedom that the World had the right to. That Humanity had the right to.

Each following their own wishes as well. All that needed to occur for their hopes and dreams to become a Reality… was to defeat the opposing Seven.

A War that had casualties. A War so out of the ordinary that a Ruler Class Servant, Heroic Spirit of Arbitration, was summoned to overview this War. At least, that was the initial belief.

There was something else that didn't sit right with this War.

But whatever that was, was not in the battlefield.

In the battlefield kept clashing swords. To think there'd be a War where two Saber Servants could face each other.

After another clash, the two separated form one another, skidding an equal distance.

"I have to admit, I never expected to face an opponent with such an odd weapon. On top of that, don't you find it unfair for it to be invisible, Saber of the Dawn?"

"Perhaps. But I is necessary. My sword's appearance gives away my identity. We need to keep our identities hidden for the sake of battle, of not being at an unfair disadvantage. While I am not fond of having my sword hidden, it is a necessary evil."

"Oh? Such as what your faction?"

"Saber of the Dusk, I understand our Masters' points of view go against one another. But let us forget that and fight to out hearts' content. After all, I can tell how much you're enjoying the battle. Both of your swords strike with excitement!"

"I would be lying if I said this isn't a battle my soul is enjoying to the brim."

On one side stood the Saber of Dawn, with Saber of Dusk ready to face her in combat.

Saber of Dawn was a woman wielding an invisible sword. Her shoulder length, curly hair was pitch-black, and her eyes a beautiful shade of red. Due to the strong colour of her hair, her already pale skin appeared even paler. Her body was clad in a loosened, golden, long kimono with red trimmings, with red and black underclothes concealing her body.

Saber of Dusk was a man whose skin had a light and healthy tan. His slicked back, quilled red hair possessed blonde tips, and his eyes were of vivid orange. In each hand, he held a sword, each a Noble Phantasm. In his right, a red blade and a guard coloured like rubies, while the one on the left was a yellow one, its guard resembling topaz instead. A black garb with greenish tones underneath light, knightly armour.

Saber of Dawn shut her eyes and let out a light chuckle. "Saber of Dusk. I believe, as my opponent, you are worthy of witnessing my sword and its power."

The knight raised an eyebrow before letting out a laugh of pride. "So much respect! I guess the only way I can repay it is by unleashing my Noble Phantasm as well, isn't that right?!"

Saber of Dawn raised the invisible weapon above her head, a light slowly running up its length and shape, revealing its appearance as Saber of Dusk raised both of his swords, both glowing with the same intensity until the red blade released a powerful flame, while the yellow surged sparks and thunder.

"Oh? Saber of Dusk, did you just give away your identity? Don't think I didn't feel that."

"That sword? Saber of Dawn, I believe I have your identity figured out!"

The moment the Noble Phantasm of Saber of Dawn was fully revealed, a powerful tower of light reached the skies, just as Saber of Dusk crossed his arms across the chest, the fire and thunder becoming stronger and stronger.

"Here comes, Saber!"

"I'm ready, Saber!"

With pride and respect, the two shouted the names of their Noble Phantasms. Saber of Dawn swung down her weapon, unleashing a powerful beam of crystalline light, while Saber of Dusk leapt forward and swung out both arms, unleashing the fire and the thunder in wave that ravaged the battlefield.

The two attacks clashed as the warriors unleashed all of their power through yells of determination.

How did the clash end? The two were swallowed by a white light.

A white light carrying a murderous temperance.
