Prologue:

Katara and Zuko became engaged, but when the Earth Kingdom starts revolting after the 100 years war, Katara told Zuko she would leave if he started another war. Now she is on her own.

War Tears us Apart

Why? Katara thought to herself as she sat on the dock of Ba Sing Se, Why did I tell him I would leave him, I love him. The Waterbender silently cried, Why hasn't he come after me? Sobs came from the girl's mouth. Looking out into the sea, she decided to go back to her room at the inn. She sat there a little longer, finnaly deciding to get up. Someone put there warm hand on her shoulder, causing her to jump. She looked up with tears in her eyes, seeing the face of Zuko. It almost looked as if he had a smile on his face. Zuko picked her up and holding her against his chest. "I love you Katara." He said wiping her tears away, "I love you to Zuko."
