Characters: Firepig the female Tepig and Thunderman the male Pikachu.
This file was from the demo of gates to infinity where I fell in love with Pokémon, of course after watching the black and white anime. Firepig's POV.
"It's like I'm looking in a mirror, wait is that Pokémon talking to me?!" I marveled gazing into the blue light. A Munna was staring at me saying something about needing my help, then I see a Hydriegon chase after her and then it goes to black. Suddenly my silhouette changes; I have the shape of four legged creature and I feel warmer, smaller. I start to panic as the ground gives way and can finally see myself and the outside world, I'm falling.
I did not dare to open my mouth to shout out help me or another cry, my eyes were shut and I felt hot. I opened my eyes and saw a great blue sky littered with clouds. I know this place did not have humans because I did not see any sort of air craft in the sky and the air tasted good. Since I was thousands of feet in the sky had time to turn around and face the ground.
I felt a sneeze coming and let one go, my nose shot out small embers into the sky and I almost blacked out from panic. My back feels strange like something is pulling on my last bone, sorta like a tail. Wait a minute what am I? Do I really have a tail!? I pondered seeing large green clumps of tree tops that I am approaching.
"Better to land on the tree than some rocks or a river, since that would hurt and as for the river I probably can't swim yet in this form." I silently told myself, preparing for impact. I landed on my stomach but passed out from shock. Luckily no dangerous Pokémon were around, just a hurrying pitterpatter. Suddenly a felt a slam on my face and I woke in confusion. I heard a voice saying "Hey are you okay? Sorry I ran into you."
I looked up the best I could and saw him, well the feet of my new best friend. He grabbed my front limbs pulling me up. This Pikachu is so nice to me, I better answer his questions. I cleared my throat and tilting my head in a smile, "I'm okay, but where are we?" The Pikachu smiled "We are in the forest near Rugged Mountain, by the why my name is Pikachu what's yours?"
His brown eyes stared at me, waiting for me to say it. But I had another question for the yellow mouse. "What am I actually? I have a tail and I constantly feel warm all over, it's been driving me insane!"
With that statement he looked at me puzzled. "Well by golly you're a Tepig, you little fire type pig! C'mon I gotta go somewhere, so just follow if ya got nothing better to do." He pushed me forward and I innocently looked up. He reminds me of someone. I thought moving in that direction.
We were headed towards a waterfall and I saw a large tree that looked quite unstable near the edge of piece of land we were on. "Oh no the bridge is out and I'm going to be late! Quick Firepig break that tree to let us cross!" Pikachu demanded, his cheeks flaring. I glanced at him and backed up, then a full speed and force I rammed into rotting tree causing it to crash onto the other side.
"Great work Firepig let's go into Rugged Mountain to reach Post Town!" my partner cheered. As we walked towards to entrance I remembered something Pikachu said about me. "Isn't my name in this world Tepig? If so why are you calling me Firepig?" I asked letting my long black ears fold back.
"It's called a nickname silly; wanna give me one to so we can be even?" Pikachu giggled getting on four legs to dash beside me into the cave like area. I grinned trying to run faster than him, which was hard due to not being used to walking on four legs. "I guess you're lightning on your feet, Thunderman."
