Not even half way down the hall Cinder's mind went back to the girl. She knows she's seen that red cloaked figure before. Then it clicks in her mind. She's the girl from the botched Dust heist that kicked Roman and the rent-a-goons into paist. She stopped and thought of something fun to do to pass the time quicker.
"Something wrong Cinder?" Mercury asked.
"No." Cinder said looking back. "Go ahead without me. I have something I need to do."
"Right…" Emerald trailed off.
Cinder quickly caught up to Ruby just outside the dorms. She took a moment to think over what she'll do. As her thoughts continued her smile became more and more mischievous.
"Hello." Cinder said as she tapped Ruby on the shoulder. "I have a few questions I was hoping you would be able to answer."
"Uh, okay." Ruby said uneasily.
"Excellent." Cinder smiled. "I was hoping you know where the library and auditorium are."
"Ah, well the auditorium is just around the left and the out side entrance is the big arch." Ruby pointed to the main beacon building. Then she pointed to the be rectangle across the square. "And that building over their is the library. Anything else?"
"Yes actually." Cinder smiled and stepped closer to her. "You."
"Um, me?" Ruby asked back turning a shade of pink.
"Yes your name firstly." The ambered eyed woman stroked a finger along Ruby's jaw line.
"R-Ruby." She tripped over her name.
"What a cute name." Cinder leaned in, locking her amber eyes with Ruby's silver. "For such a cute girl."
"Uh, um." Ruby was flustered and changed from a shade of pink to noticeably red.
"You wouldn't be seeing anyone, would you Ruby?" Cinders hand cupped the curve of Ruby's jaw.
"N-n-no." Ruby stuttered. The cloaked girl had a strong urge to run but her legs wouldn't move. Because she was seemingly mesmerized by the person standing in front of her.
"Oh good." Cinder said resting her forehead on Ruby's. She could feel the young girl blush an almost impossible shade of red. "Now I wont feel as guilty."
"F-for?" Ruby's question was answered with Cinders lips on hers. "Wha?" Was all Ruby could muster.
"Its a kiss silly girl." Cinders thumb traces under Ruby's eye. "Was it bad?"
"What uh.." Ruby thought for a moment. It was her first kiss. She didn't know if it was good or bad. But there was a warm feeling that told her to say "It was great."
"Excellent." Cinder's free hand went to the small of Ruby's and pulled her in. "I plan to do a lot more."
Ruby couldn't even say anything as Cinder kissed her again.
