Just after they defeated Alexei and the and the Adephagos appeared in the sky, Yuri stood at the edge of the highest platform of Baccion, thinking about what just happened. After a few seconds he heard footsteps coming closer. As he looked over his shoulder he saw Judy walking towards him.
He then looked back at the sky, where the Adephagos was. Then, suddenly, the slow walking changed into running and a female voice shouted "Yuri Lowell!"
As he turned around he saw Flynns second in command, Sodia, running towards him. And July right behind her.
But she was too far behind to stop what Sodia was up to.
Then he felt the sharp pain of a dagger, digging into his stomach. When Sodia stepped back and pulled the dagger out, she suddenly looked terrified. It was like she just came to her senses after an hypnosis. Yuri stumbled a few steps backwards and fell of the platform.
Everyone looked shocked as Yuri fell down from the platform, but they were too far away to catch him. Everyone except Judy.
As Judy had just shoved Sodia aside, Yuri was already falling. She jumped and was able to grab his hand, but now she was lying on her stomach and his weight was pulling her down as well.
The last thing Yuri saw before he crashed into the water, was Judy as she was hugging him tightly with a worried and a bit scared expression on her face. Then, the world went black.
The next thing Yuri knew was, that it was dry and he was apparently lying in a bed. With something warm and soft by his side. He slowly opened his eyes, only to find himself in his room in the lower quarter of Zaphias. As he tried to get p the felt the pain in his stomach again.
A few minutes later the warmth began to move and a pair of female arms wrapped themselves around his chest.
"So you finally woke up." came Judy's voice from behind him.
"I didn't imagine things after all." Yuri said while trying to turn around.
"What do you mean?" Judy asked playfully.
"You know, a beautiful woman jumping after me and trying to pull me back up." Yuri responded.
"So you just think about me as a beautiful woman?" Judy asked in her usual, neutral voice.
"Well, you're more than a friend to me." Yuri finally managed to turn around, which resulted in breaking Judy's embrace.
"By the way, where's your `armour`?"
In fact Judy was only wearing her underwear and her lower body was covered with the blanket.
"Oh, it must have been broken as we crashed into the water." Judy said as she closed the distance between them.
"Then we should do something while there are just the two of us." Judy said, right before she pressed her lips on his.
After a few minutes they broke their kiss to get some fresh air. They looked each other in the eyes and as they were about to kiss each other again, the voice of Duke interrupted them.
"I see that you two are finally awake."
