1 Journey

It was another misty day, as always, at the Village Hidden in the Mist. Rachelle opened her deep, deep violet eyes, even though nobody could see them. Her eyes were covered in a white film, except for a small ring around the film that showed her true color.

Rachelle stretched and felt around. You see, she can't see with her eyes. She just uses her chakra and can feel the weight of everything. Then she forms a picture in her head. But of the places she already knows, it's easy.

Rachelle went downstairs, fully clothed. Her sensi, Mitoko, was waiting for her.

"I have to go now, don't i?" Rachelle asked.

"Yep." Mitoko nodded, "Back to the leaf Village."

At the gates of the Hidden Mist there were 4 ANBU Black Ops and 2 Leaf Jonins. Only Mitoko-sensi was there to see her off.

"Wait!" a small boy of five ran up and hugged Rachelle around her middle. "Don't go! I'm gonna miss you!" he cried.

"Oh, Jaroam. I'm gonna miss you to." Rachelle hugged him back.

"Can't you stay?" he asked, tears spilling down his cheeks.

"No. But I'll come and visit you." Rachelle told him.

"Promise?" He looked hopefully up at her.

"I promise." Rachelle was biting back her tears. She knew she couldn't keep that promise.

"Really?" Jaroam was used to having promises broken. But if he wouldn't cry at night, Rachelle would tell him that.

"Really." Rachelle managed a weak, watery smile.

"Yay!"

"Ok, Jaroam. I have to go now."

"No Mist ninja will harm you on your journey. You should be safe." Mitoko said.

"Of course!" One of the ninjas said, "I mean, why would anyone harm a little blind girl?"

Rachelle whipped around, "Why would anyone make and idiot like you a jonin?"

"Oh, very clever."

"Oh, very clever." Rachelle mimicked in the exact same voice.

"Ok, let's go." The other jonin gently took Rachelle's arm, but he jerked back in surprise when she pulled away.

"Everyone thinks that just because I'm blind, I'm helpless!" Rachelle stormed off in, surprisingly, the right direction.

The journey went smoothly. The party encountered on one harmful. But Rachelle was uncomfortable on the boat. She always kept one hand on a wall, and stayed in her room.

When they arrived at Konoha, the ANBU left.

"You need to go see the Hokage."

"I know where it is." Rachelle said surely.

Knock!

Come in!" The Hokage called. The door opened and in stepped Rachelle. The Hokage sighed. "You're even more beautiful then I remembered. Even with…" He trailed off.

"Thank you."

"Kakashi, you can come in now.

"You are going to be joining Kakashi's group. I made special arrangements." The Hokage said.

"So this is young Rachelle Uchiha"

Me: Well, i hope you like the story so far. It gets more exciting. Sorry if the first chapter is so short.
