Don Alejandro de la vega's grandfather,Don Fernando was an wealthy spanish trader.He arrived in San Tasco and started living.He bought lots of lands in a cheaper rate from the natives.So he was one of the first dwellers of San Tasco.
Thus Alejandro's father,Don Paul inherited his fathers vast wealth and made it much.He was even selected as the mayor of the town.
Don Alejandro was no exception than his ancestors.He was an hard working farmer.He helped poor and needies when they needed.
He was supposed to marry Katrina Van Tassel.But Katrina had elopted with her lover,Alejandro's friend Don Carlos Predeux.
So He married Elena Cataleya,a spanish nobelwomen.Their first child was a daughter,Diana.After nine years,Elena gave birth to their first son Diego.
Don Carlos and Katrina returned,When her fathet was in deathbed.He willed all his property to his daughter and forgave her.They had children after quite long time.Their son,james born the same year Diego was born.One year later Their daughter,Lolita was born.
All was going well.Until when Elena died while giving birth to her third child.When Diego was eight and Diana was seventeen.
But all was fine,Maria,their widowed and childless house maid,raised them as her own children.
Diego was a brave and strong boy.He helped his father in their farm.Also helped Maria in her household works.
