Perfection
Everyone thinks Lily Evans is perfect. I know differently.
Sure, to the population of Hogwarts she seems infallible; perfect grades, loved by all teachers, liked by most (but do Slytherin's even count?) and never ever steps a toe out of line.
But that's the facade put on for the public. Behind closed doors it's a different story.
She's ridiculously messy. I'm not just talking about a stray book on the floor or a few items of clothing lying on the bed. I mean so messy that you can't see the carpet. Cups and plates constantly left lying around, her wardrobe has shirts, trousers, dresses and underwear spilling out of it. She seems to forget that with a simple wave of her wand, it can all dissapear, so instead she lives in a pig stye. Pretty much every morning she's running around, flinging things around because she can't find a shoe or a piece of parchement. I don't know how her roomates put up with it.
She curses. A lot. "Fuck this, fuck that." It's still very disconcerting to hear her swearing, despite the fact that it's normally my fault (or so she says.)
She's the most stubborn person I've ever come across. Even when I know and she knows she's wrong, she sticks to her guns claiming that she's right and I'm just a stupid arse. And I'm not. A stupid arse that is.
She's got a very scheming nature. his is coming from someone who is a marauder themselvesand lived with three other marauders for nearly seven years, but she is. She has a way of getting what she wants, granted it's very easy with me. All she has to do it pout her lips and look at me from under her eyelashes and I'm gone. Her wish is my command. But she can do it with everyone, she has a way of knowing everyone's weaknesses. If she wants something from Peter she'll buy him food, Remus she'll get him some books and with Sirius, she just threatens to cut off his hair. She's a devil in disguise as a beautiful red head.
She's not perfect, at all. But, as soppy as this sounds and if Sirius ever heard me talking like this I'd be ridiculed for the rest of my life, she's perfect to me. And I love her. But don't let her hear me say that or she'll throw me in the lake.
