AN: felt like putting my ipod on shuffle and writing a drabble for Vampire Diaries with it. Some of them my end up as slash depending on what song comes up so sorry if you don't like that kind of thing but this is your warning.

Disclaimer: I don't own Vampire Diaries, if I did there would be many more brotherly scenes between Stefan and Damon. Lawlz

Unstoppable by Rascal Flatts

"Damon it wasn't your fault-," Stefan began before Damon cut him off.

"It was supposed to be me Stefan! There's no cure! Rose is going to die because of me!" Damon yelled in anguish.

Stefan grabbed his brother by the shoulders and shook him, "We'll find a cure Damon."

"HOW?" Damon yelled swatting his little brother's hands away.

"Because you love her. And nothing stops love."

Damon still seemed doubtful but fell silent really thinking about his brother's words.

Sweet Sacrifice by Evanescence

Elena stood frozen in fear as Klaus stalked towards her. He'd killed the Jules the werewolf. He'd killed Aunt Jenna, just turned into a vampire. Now he had to drink her dry to complete the ritual.

"Don't worry sweetheart. I'll make it painless. Your sacrifice will be doing me a great service," He said soothingly.

Elena gulped, terror in her eyes as he grew closer. Then her heart completely stopped at the voice she heard behind her.

"Let her go now." The deadly cool voice of Damon Salvatore came from behind her. She turned to look at him and saw Stefan, Alaric, Jeremy, Bonnie, Caroline, Matt, Tyler and John. And man did they looked PISSED. She chuckled to herself when she thought about how although he was some all powerful original, Klaus should be fearing for his life.

Dance with the Devil by Breaking Benjamin

Damon thought about how stupid this was as he ran towards the clearing. Going up against an original? Did he suddenly have a death wish? He should turn and race out of town, hop on a plane to Fiji or something. But he couldn't.

He had to beat Klaus. Not to save himself but to get revenge. That bastard was gonna die for what he was currently doing. NO ONE hurts Damon Salvatore's baby brother and lives.

He got to the clearing and saw Stefan squirming on the ground in agony and he felt his anger flare up like a tidal wive. He was seeing red and as Klaus came into view he charged him.

Within minutes they were locked in a death match, circling each other. Both furious as well as powerful. Caroline was bleeding on the groung about twenty feet away watching.

'He's in a deadly dance with the Devil himself.' She thought. But the question was who was the Devil in this equation? Klaus or Damon?
