An unexpected door slam woke her up from astonishment and Quinn was forced herself to look again at her body. It had been three days since she had a car accident. Little did she know how that could have been possible but somehow she was standing near a hospital bed as a spirit or some supernatural creature.
The blond girl could't belive in what was happening to her. At the one moment she was driving fast her car so that she could be quicker at her best friend's wedding and suddenly a truck hit her. To cut a long story short, after that Quinn was able to only recall watching how surgeons saved her life and connected her body to a lot of machines which were supported her breathing and heart beating.
It was Rachel who had just enetered the room. Quinn glanced in her direction and saw the most miserable person in the world. Her best friend was sitting near her body, crying and holding her right hand. Quinn was powerless because she couldn't do anything to comfort Rachel – she was invisible to humans. The fear and guilt written in Rachel's dark brown eyes were killing her inside. Quinn wished Rachel had been able to feel her. Then Quinn approched her friend, put her hand on Rachel's arm and squeezed her.
'Rach, it wasn't your fault...', she whispered and at the same time Rachel turned towards Quinn and looked at her in disbelief.
All at once the blond girl felt a tremendous pain and opened her eyes. 'I am so sorry...', she groaned to Rachel and squeezed her hand.
Despite the whole situation, Quinn was relieved because she came back to her body at last and saw a smile on Rachel's face.
