Sleeping In
I roll over in the bed I share with my lover and hit the off button on the alarm clock. We don't have to be in until late today so I'm determined to sleep in curled around the smaller form next to me. This doesn't happen very often as he's a light sleeper but every once in a while, like today, I'm quick enough to shut the alarm off before it goes off. Rolling back over I wrap my arm around Danny's waist, tugging him closer, bury my nose in his hair and take a deep breath, inhaling the scent of his shampoo, citrus. I press a gentle kiss to the back of his neck and go back to sleep.
