This love, This hate.
"Please, don't leave me." Kevin Ryan cried with his wife in his arms.
"Kevin." She said softly, "Baby, don't do this." Ryan begged. He could here the police and ambulance sirens. Someone must have reported the gun shots.
"I love you so much." He bursted out in tears, "I love you too." Her last words were. Ryan watched as her life faded away.
"Jenny?" Ryan whispered, "Jenny?" He yelled as the ambulance and police cars pulled up behind them.
"Ryan!" Javier Esposito yelled as he ran up to his partner. He stopped when he saw a lifeless Jenny laying in his bloody hands.
"Oh my God, Kevin, I-" Esposito didn't finish his sentence when Richard Castle and his wife, Kate Beckett, drew upon the scene.
"Is that-?" Castle asked when he was interrupted by Beckett. "Castle, don't." He nodded with a look of sympathy.
"I can't believe she's gone. Just like that. It was out of nowhere." Ryan said as even more tears streamed down his face. "Kevin, Lanie might want to take a look at her. Is that ok?" Beckett asked nervously, "Ok." He choked letting go and resting her on the cement ground in the dirty alleyway. Beckett would of given him more time, but not here. The morgue would be a safer spot.
The four of them walked out of the alleyway turning away from Jenny. "What happened?" Esposito asked with a tears in his eyes.
"We were walking home and some masked guy hit me in the head with something and everything was a blur. I just remember Jenny screaming and being pulled into the alley. And that's when I heard the gun shot." He cried.
Esposito hugged his partner and Ryan cried into his shoulders. "We'll be right there." he whispered to Castle and Beckett and they nodded and wondered off.
"I can't believe this." Beckett blurted, "I know. Sarah Grace, and now Jenny? He was ruined before, Kate. Imagine what's going to happen now."
Beckett remained silent and thought about Ryan being broken the rest of his life.
"We just have to help him get through this." Castle suggested, "It's not going to be easy." Beckett confessed, "I know, but it's the best we can do. It's like we're going to bring her back to life like in The Lazarus Effect."
"Castle, please. Now is not the time." Beckett scolded, "I'm just saying that you're right. We can't do a lot, but we can try. It's the best we can do."
"I guess you're right." Beckett said. "Now let's go help Kevin."
Ok. This is my first Ryan and Alexis Fanfic. Now don't hate me for character deaths because I thought it would be kind of low for Jenny to divorce him. Thanks for reading and tell me what you think! Oh and next chalked will be longer.
