I've been completely seduced by Pemma. I LOVE them! Just a little fluffy drabble.
Ring the Alarm
Emma Coolidge was not a morning person.
She was a night owl, loving nothing more than staying up late, watching the stars, reading by firelight, curling up on the couch with a old movie.
But mornings were not her thing, and she has long considered her alarm enemy number one.
When she was young, her mom resorted to tickling her feet to wake her from slumber.
The first morning she was awakened by her vibrating alarm she was disorientated and thought there was an earthquake.
She had since gotten used to the gentle shakes, but she didn't like them any better.
Recently she'd traded in for a new alarm, and it was gently persuading her from her dreams.
She rolled over and grinned at her alarm.
"Morning." Peter smiled, pressing another kiss to her neck.
"Morning." She replied, running her hand along his cheekbone. Glancing over his shoulder she noticed the digital clock, that had woken Peter up minutes before he'd woken her up.
"Peter, it's only six. You set the alarm wrong."
He gave her a wolfish smile. "I didn't."
"We don't have to get up to seven." She frowned.
"I know." Peter snaked his hand under her t shirt and up her back. "But there's a lot we can do in an hour."
"Really?" Emma laughed, placing soft kisses along his collar.
"Oh yeah." He gave her his half smile she loved, and gently pulled her shirt over her head.
And as he kissed her again, Emma decided that maybe mornings, and alarms weren't all bad.
