"Hey Ice Prick do you even know where we are going?"
"Of course I don't flame brain, Erza has the map!"
"Uhh Erza, the map might be upside down..."
Do you dare judge my navigating skills?"
"N-No, A-Aye!"
Let's face it, They really where lost. Natsu, Grey,Erza and Happy had taken a job request in MythBury Forest to defeat a monster who had been terrorizing the local town of BayBrook. The Mayor had sent the request to Fairytail as It needed to be taken care of immediately, and he specifically asked for this group, why? Who knows. MythBury forest was rumored to contain Fairies, and It sure looked like a forest out of a fairy tale. Moss and Ivy strangled tall twisted trees that reached up towards the sky, Ferns, Flowers and Mushrooms of different shapes and sizes dotted the forest floor and it was so perfect you had to check it wasn't an illusion. Birds tweeted and fluttered from tree to tree, but at this precise moment not even the wind rustled the leaves, something was off, and Natsu was the first to realise it.
"Hey, Wait.." The fire mage stuck his head up in the air and sniffed a couple of times "I smell the monster, It's getting close." Just as the words left his mouth a large beast leapt out of the nearby bushes and grazed his arm with it's sharp claws. It fitted the description perfectly, Twisted horns stuck out from it's head, Rows of sharp, yellowed teeth resided inside it's mouth, with the occasional one poking out, dark grey fur, powerful legs with claws as sharp as Erza's swords, A stumpy tail and blood red eyes, this beast was designed to be the perfect hunter."Fire Dragon's Roar!" Natsu shot his attack at the beast, who jumped to the side with speed faster than even a dragon slayer couldn't follow, and clawed Natsu all over his back, arms and legs, making him drop to the ground with drops of blood staining the lush grass.
"RE-Equip, Heavens wheel Armour, Dance my Blades!" Erza was the next to go, Her swords tried to hit the monster, but it's high level of speed made dodging them seem like child's play. "Trinity sword!" once again, every time she got close it attacked her, dealing more damage to her than she was doing to it. It looks like all the walking had tired her out the most, after all, they had been walking around in circles for almost 4 hours. She was soon knocked back into the trees behind her after successfully scoring...3 hits.
"Ice make:Spikes!" Grey was sending ice attacks at the beast as soon as Erza was down, but using it's sheer brute force it smashed through them each time, crunching the ice to dust and soon Grey was out of magic and in the same situation, and Happy had been sleeping this whole time.
The trio where unsuccessfully trying to stand back up, but with the amount of injuries they had sustained it was piratically impossible. The beast stood before them, saliva dripping down it's mouth and it's eyes were crazy. The beast jumped towards it's first prey, Natsu, and was about to land on him when a flashing light appeared and knocked him back wards.
Out of the shadows stepped a girl, about the same height as Erza with golden shoulder length hair, chocolate brown eyes and a curvaceous body. She was barefoot and had quite revealing clothes made completely out of sakura petals that currently had a light pink glow and on top a thorn crown with light pink flowers, she wore a belt made of green vines and attached to it was a curved bone dagger with a silver hilt, a quiver made of leaves containing a few arrows hung from her back and in her hands she held a white bow, an arrow balanced on the bowstring ready to fire again. But the thing that stood out the most where her pointed ears and the things on her back. Translucent golden fairy wings.

I faced the beast with my bow ready to fire, one of my arrows was already lodged in it's leg, decreasing it's ability to run. A flash of recognition crossed it's face and I glared at it. "Slentus, I was prepared to let you go, but now, seeing as you have harmed many people I will show no mercy." I let loose all of my arrows and only a couple hit, not in any vital points like the head, neck or heart, they grazed it just near the tail and a couple on it's back leg. I cursed under my breath and tossed my bow to the side. "Looks like I'll have to use magic." I sighed, my magic was very effective in many things, but I preferred not to use it. "I'll end this quickly, Light burst!" I stretched out my hands and shot a beam of light at the beast, it hit it in the side and dissolved, it was a matter of seconds before it wobbled on it's feet and collapsed. I looked at the fallen mages, a fire mage, re-equip mage, ice mage and...a flying cat...I think they're called exceeds or something along the lines of that, Aera magic. It was then that I noticed the red haired one was awake but they were all injured, except the cat who appeared to be sleep rather than unconcious.
The fire mage eyed me suspiciously "Who and what are you?" I ignored him and focused my magic on the next spell. "Hey don't ignore me!" he yelled and I continued to do just that.
"Healing dust!" I chanted and shook my wings, sending glowing dust to the mage and his fallen comrades, their cuts and bruises started healing and I started shrinking back to my normal form before blacking out...
Natsu's P.O.V
The strange girl who saved us chanted some sort f healing spell, and I watched in amazement as my cuts started sealing up and the bruises disappeared. Erza and Grey soon regained conciousness and I looked around for the stranger before noticing something small glowing in a patch of moss. I moved over to it and picked it up, it was the girl, who was much shorter and appeared to be sleeping. "Hey flame brain what happened?" Grey asked and I shrugged
"who knows Stripper, but I'm pretty sure we were saved by this girl." I held up the girl in my hands and gestured to the dead beast. Grey's jaw dropped
"Natsu..you do realise what that is right?" I shrugged, was I supposed to know every creature in the world? "Idiot look, wings, pointy ears, flower dress, flower crown, It's a fairy you Dimwhit!"
I looked in surprise at the girl "I didn't know they still existed, should we take her back to the guild?" I looked at Erza and she nodded.
"She saved us and it looks like she used up most of her magic, it might take a day to restore and we can't leave her out here, grab the beast and let's get back to Magnolia." I nodded and looked at the girl before wrapping her in my scarf. "Let's get this job done and head back!"
-After the train ride-
No-One's P.O.V
"Yes, sweet ground!" Natsu yelled and jumped off the train, instantly recovering and Grey and Erza sweat dropped, he hated trains, cars, buses, any mode of transportation...Natsu checked on the fairy and she seemed fine, still asleep. The mages walked back to the guild and Natsu kicked open the doors,dramatic as ever. "We're back everyone!" The other members said hi or welcome back and things like that. Natsu,Erza,Grey and Happy walked up to the bar. "Hey everybody, I have something to show you, but you'll have to be quiet and gather round the bar right now!" Natsu commanded everyone shut up immediately and crowded round the bar, he took off his scarf and carefully unrolled it, revealing the curled up figure of the fairy girl from MythBury forest. Everyone gasped and watched the sleeping figure in awe and as master stood up on the second floor to announce something but then noticed the unnatural silence in the guild and decided to look for himself. He parted the crowds and climbed onto one of the bar stools, he too let out an gasp of surprise and watched the fairy.
It was then that the girl started moving, her gold wings shook lightly, making dust flutter to the ground, her eyelashes twitched and she opened her eyes for a moment, before quickly shutting them again, sitting up and placing her hand on her head. The guild still watched (Without blinking) and she moved her eyes up to meet them. She was not expecting so many people and squealed, got up and hid behind a salt shaker Mira had put down earlier, her little hands grasped the side of it and she poked her head out and looked at the guild. She saw the group from earlier and remembered that day's events. "uhm..." she stated and looked at the guild and they looked back. "I'm Lucy and If you don't mind me asking..where am I?" she looked around and hid further behind the shaker.
"My child, you are at a magic guild called FairyTail, I believe you helped some of my children on their mission, if you like you could join the guild." Master Makarov was the only one to speak, and the guild members held their breath in anticipation before Lucy nodded. The guild erupted in cheers and Lucy smiled, she was sure she was going to love it here.
Lucy's P.O.V
I just joined a guild, I was planning to anyway after I left the forest, and it seemed this was the perfect guild for me. I was a Fairy, and this was FairyTail. I smiled as I watched the guild members celebrate and after a while I knew their names I sat on the bar, watching and kicking my feet when I heard someone talk to me. "So Lucy, how are we going to do your guild mark, you're um..about the same size as the stamp you see..." It was Mira who was talking, and I turned and laughed.
"I can fix that!" I jumped off of the bar and stood on the floor, before going into my battle form. It was a bit awkward how all the boys stopped fighting and looked at me, before blushing and averting their eyes, I sighed, this was normal attire in the fairy realm, mortal men are such perverts. Mira looked at me and smiled "So where would you like your guild mark? I assume it will shrink with you anyways." I nodded and thought about it before pointing to a spot to the left of my right shoulder in between my shoulder and neck.
"Here and in Pink please!" I asked and she smiled, before stamping me and I turned back into my normal form, used my wings and flew back up to the bar, just in time for Master's announcement.
"Listen up, Brats! This year's GMG is in 4 months, and we will start training tomorrow! Split up into groups as big as you want and I will choose the participants the day before we leave to Crocus, 3 days before the GMG, there will be a test so good luck!" the guild cheered and went back to it's normal state. I sighed and looked down at my feet. I was probably going to be training alone and there was little chance that I'd get picked because I'm new. I started thinking about where I would train and a few places came to mind. The forest? Nope, I'm already used to that environment. The mountains? Not really much for me to do up there. I stared gloomily at my feet and sighed, this action did not go unnoticed by a certain dragonslayer who soon came over and sat on the bar stool to talk to me.
"So Luce, what are your pans for training, who you going with?" I sighed and looked back at my feet.
"I'l probably be training alone since I don't really know anyone that much and they probably wouldn't want me around." I stated, quickly looking up at him and then back at my feet.
"Aww don't worry Luce, I'll think of something, be right back!" He replied and I nodded before making a request to Mira, she nodded and soon came back with a beer bottle cap and the top section of a straw. She filled the cap with a few drops of chocolate milkshake and I sat there drinking it, It didn't look like much but for my size it was like a regular milkshake.
I was watching the guild when Natsu came back over. "Hey again Luce, so about the training thing, how would you like to come with me, Grey, Erza, Happy, Wendy, Carla, Juvia, Levy, Jet and Droy?" My face lit up with a massive smile and I knew my reply instantly.
"Of course!"
