Remus Lupin was sitting in a squashy chair, reading. Nothing could disturb him, absolutely nothing…
"Moony!"
Well, one thing. The now annoyed Remus Lupin looked at his friend and fellow Marauder, Sirius Black, who was currently poking him in the head with his wand. Sirius looked the epitome of, well, boredom. Utter and complete boredom was something that didn't suit Sirius very well. Last time, all the teachers were jinxed to burst out singing carols every time a student said 'professor' or 'sir'. That was just a couple of days before winter break, and Padfoot along with himself and Prongs had to serve a months' worth of detention. The last thing Remus wanted was another one.
"What, Padfoot?" he asked.
"I'm bored!" his dog-animagus friend replied.
"No, really?" Remus said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Why don't you go bother Prongs?"
"He's still in a daze, and I've got no idea as to why. You'd think Evans kissed him or something!"
Remus snorted. He knew Lily would rather kill herself than do that.
"The day she agrees to go out with him is the day I escape from Azkaban after over a decade's imprisonment for killing a dozen muggles!" Both Sirius and Remus laughed.
